Reggie Harrison
Hey i'm new to the site and rep's in general. I found this site watcheden.com on RWG, except it's in the apprentice section. I'm not making any accusations that they suck, I was just wondering if anyone has gotten a chance to sample their rep's? I found this site watcheden.com on RWG, except it's in the apprentice section. I'm not making any accusations that they suck, I was just wondering if anyone has gotten a chance to sample their rep's? When I was a newbie poster like you, I made the mistake of asking about a dealer. The search function and time spent researching them on this site and other respected watch forums should give you your answer. That was the answer I got. Having said that. I am thinking about ordering a watch from them tonight, (but only an entry level watch, using their CNY coupon).
asf
I bought my patek philippe from them. 90 bucks. its not the most ACCURATE to the gen, but its a pretty watch that works! They have great email communication and are willing to help

Very, very well said...Search feature is your friend, however if they're listed on this site they're better than 99.99% of dealers on the web! If you see Kay
Nice shot. I finally purchased my first dealer watch from watcheden a couple of hours ago. It was a Longines. Looks a lot like the PP 5120. I could not find a rep of the PP, so I "settled" for the Longines. Used the CNY $20 coupon and it came out to a paltry $88! Was going to go for the buy 3 get one free, but I figured I'd better take it slow for now, as I'm still a newbie at this. Picked up a sub from a fellow member over the weekend, too. Both should arrive about the same time, I hope. OOOOhhh I'm so excited... Next watch.. a Cartier Santos. If watcheden comes through, I'd definitely buy again from them. trailboss
Watcheden = Rolex2U = tonySKF on CQout = long time dealer. Tony has been around for ages and usualy gives good service and great prices. Comunication is usualy very good. Of the recomended deaslers here he can't be beat for the cheapies. Hint for noobs: Don't order direct off the website. Email first and ask a few questions. Make shure he knows you're from the forum. With the cheapies ask if it is the same case as the ETA version. An example of this is the Millgauss he has with a 21J for 108USD. this is exactly the same watch as the much more expensive ETA version and a bargin. Some cheapie stuff however is nowhere as good a rep as the more expensive version. Col.

digitalnrg
Tony & Sarah from Watchden are great people to communicate with. However, be REAL careful when you order their low end watches as they often misprint on the dial etc.
monkeypie
I ordered a cheap AP Wempe from them right on the 20th January, so I have yet to receive it. Due to the lack of quality reps in HK (ironically contrary to its reputation) they are the first online dealer I used. That said though, they reply very promptly and very courteously, even to minor or trivial questions. Over at RWI they were ranked 2nd most recommended. Considering a prohunter from them next. Sjako
Be sure to check if the watch is also listed on Cqout. Often cheaper then on the website. S
RLudlowe
Due to the lack of quality reps in HK (ironically contrary to its reputation) Sad to say that was a few decades ago - at one time you could get good reps in Tokyo, too!

I'm not making any accusations that they suck, I was just wondering if anyone has gotten a chance to sample their rep's? I very rarely (read almost never) buy from anyone else. hackR
watcheden drop ships...i have had a few problems with the wrong item or model (similar or older model) sent...it's an inconvenience, but i have sent them back..it takes times, but they usually make it right... great price and value... here's an example... i ordered a Glashutte white dial PanoMatic from tonyxkf on cqout...as far as i can tell, this model is an older one...there's a newer one out that is different...since tonyxkf=watcheden, they sent me the newer model (watcheden pix attached)...hey, this happens...but it is frustrating...especially because i have learned...before i order i inquire...they can tell you the watch is "in stock" or not...since the watches are drop-shipped, they can't tell what the watch actually looks like...a few times, i have inquired on some watches from their site that they cannot get...not always good at pruning the old models off the website... i also ordered an Omega 20mm PO rubber strap in BLACK and received ORANGE...frustrating for sure... anyhow, here's an example of a mis-shipment... they are making good on it... R- I have to admit, I've never received an incorrectly shipped watch from Tony, and any kind of mechanical errors have always been dealt with efficiently and professionally. WIth regards the new or old watches, this is a situation I encountered when I asked Tony if he could source a VCO. He could only get the new model, rather than the old model I was after. I bought the 'old model' from another dealer, but never liked wearing it, so it got sent on to a friend... I don't have a problem with drop-shipping as long as the correct items arrive, or, any mistakes are dealt with smoothly (as happened when I ordered from a different drop-shipper) I hope your issues get resolved smoothly

hackR
@TeeJay and others... I enjoy working with watcheden (tony, sarah, etc)...but i have had a few wrong watches sent...this seems to be an issue when there are new/old versions of a similar watch... i contacted tony on my glashutte issue and they understood, were apologetic AND offered to ship my replacement items before receiving my return -- as long as i send them a tracking number...i am a "good" customer and i'm sure that's why...a very nice gesture in a world of mistrust, ya know?!... the biggest frustration with mis-orders is the turnaround time... even though, i've had a few issues, it won't stop me buying from them again... digitalnrg
I had a little problem with Tony before, but the level of communication from Sarah (Tony's assistant I assume) is comparable with Jos or Andrew. Bottom line, they'll work with you to resolve the issue.
