jeff g Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Wow. Perhaps the most beautiful pam photos ever. What a beautiful watch. Black shark strap 199%. Thank you. Wear it well.
Rocketeer Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Not usually a big fan of the submersible range, but that one is really nice.
Dani Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 WOOOOOWY. amazing pics of an amazing watch. Enjoy it. Cheers, Dani
chiefwiggum Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Ahhhhhh Damn I thought I was in a sales thread - LOL
l3x Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Absolutely beautiful. Your photog skills are top notch.
Cats Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 @CC, i started of as a PAM freak and never liked the Submersible wathces. In the mean time i shifted my interest to the vintage Rolex types. But you confinced me that the submersible can be A REAL BEAUTY . With the help of a few ( epxert ) members you have a great watch. Wear it well Carpe Diem Cats
projectologist Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 I was fortunate in that I got to see this one the day it arrived. It was quite amazing to see how good the aged lume looked, especially the gen-like contrast between hands, hours and lettering.
cc Posted February 7, 2009 Author Report Posted February 7, 2009 Thanks guys for the compliments!! But you confinced me that the submersible can be A REAL BEAUTY . I also was not a fan of Submersibles when I was introduced to Pams. After a while (a short while for me) , you begin to develop a passion for them Beautiful S Welcome to the 024A club I've only seen a handful of these modded. It was You and Kruzer who inspired me to what the 24a is today.
serge Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 looks amazing...wish mine was that nice!
lanikai Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Magnificent Pics of a MAGNIFICENT Timepiece !!!! Live Strong and Wear it Well CC !!
jitai Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Very nice. Congrats to you CC. My PAM24 is on its way back from The Zigmeister. However, it will not be a PM24A but a PAM24D due to the hash mark on the bezel.
pizzanooo Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 What a great watch and project you put together. One of my favorite subs of them all, that one is a stunner. Forgot to mention your nice choice of the shark. One of the few I have seen all black, we think alike.
cc Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 Again thanks guys I am still an amateur at photography. Nowhere near the level of some members here. I really cannot take much credit to this. It is The Zigmeister, and only The Zigmeister that can transform such craftsmanship at this certain level. @pizzanoo: i remember your sharky it is one of my favorite straps. kwong is top notch. @jital: awesome!! Please share when you receive it
Watchmeister Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Your 24A looks fabulous. Wear that one well. It certainly is one to be very proud of.
StormTooper4 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Good Grief that is just wonderful They have to be some of the best photos we have had of one very special watch Just Awesome ST4

earlgrey-erfurt Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 normally not my favourite model but this one is is real cool!!!!!!! cheers helmut
fishgodeep Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Without doubt one of the best PAM 24A's I've seen ...excellent work by Ziggy and superb photos!! It's one of those watches that grows and grows on you ...such a distinctive Panerai style that's a collectors classic! Enjoy FGD
RWG Technical Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 It looks great on those straps. I think one of the items that doesn't get mentioned or isn't appreciated is the fact that the lume metal buckets are all removed, and I hand paint circles on the dial where the buckets were, and then once dry I hand apply the lume dots. So it's truely a hand made one-of-a-kind watch, especially this particular one. RG
