polexpete
Hi Stephane, just curious, the ETA 2789-1 isn't a GMT movement so is the hand fixed or has it been modified like our dealers 2836's. Also the stem alignment is much higher... very interesting. Go on, open her up... Cheers P.

Stephane
Thanks again guys. @Pete: The mvt has been modified indeed. The Orange hand turns in 24 hours. It is not fixed. Now, my knowledge about mvts is very limited so I couldn't tell you precisely what mod has been done to it

Stephane
Ah, ah, well for sure it would be a great "happening". But I won't let that happen. I mean I have a genuine Bergeon dice here, but I'm missing the 400 to

elepaolo
...And finally I've seen it in the flesh. Well, guys, all I can tell you is that it's PERFECT. No one, and I mean even the most accomplished Rolex conoisseur, can call this a rep, if he doesn't open it an see the movement. Awesome, believe me!!! vlydog
Congratulations Stephane; a stunner for sure. You certainly deserve to have this piece in your collection. This is the one that I will always dream about owning. Oh well, maybe someday. Wear it in good health. B
Stephane
Thanks for the kind words guys. @Vly: I'm afraid this one cannot be sold! And if it was, the price would be so insane that it wouldn't make sense... I tell you, I'm crazy @Paolo: Grazie per la tua compania. Guys, if you have a night in Rome, don't hesitate to spend it with Paolo. We spend two evenings in Brussels togheter and it is a great souvenir. ThinkBachs
I have to smile when I look at that bracelet. When I first started looking for watches to purchase, I would never buy a watch that had one of those cheap rolled link bracelets- CHEAP! I'd think to myself. Now, I see one on an old Rolex and think Ohhhh, VINTAGE! The next thing I think of: all the auction and antique dealers that I know that wear vintage Rolexes, and have a moment of reflection as I wonder about all the poor old ladies sitting in nursing homes thinking about the extra money they should have gotten for their husband's old watch. Running out to the store now, anybody need any cat food?
