maxman Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 I dont even have to think about this one. Drum roll. The Omega SeaMaster Automatic chrono Late 60s-early70s vintage Mike
valerian Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 For me this must be the father AND mother of all modern pilot chronos, the wonderfully sober and clean IWC 3706 Fliegerchronograph: I like the follower, the ubiquitous 3717 and also the BP but the IWC world will never be the same again after the closing down of this legendary model. Yours kindly Valerian
Guest asim Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 i agree with everything so far. in fact i wanted to add the IWC myself until valerian took the first chance. another cult in my eyes is the moonwatch:
ammandel Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 Unfortunately don't own either of these, but theres 2 cult watches I think are particularly prominent that everyone seems to give even a little 'nod' to: White Explorer II Also, 'Fat Lady' 16760 I think I'd have to give an honorable mention to the Milgauss also

maxman Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 *** certainly I agree with U *** Very nice Indeed
By-Tor Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 Besides Speedy Moon, TAG Monaco and Rolex Submariner, which are definitely "cult watches" I think Pepsi belongs to the group as well. 1675, 16750 and 16710. Here's mine. I love it, and couldn't even imagine my collection without one.
caracarnj Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 It has got to be this IWC. IWC 3706 Fliegerchronograph:

OneMan24 Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 I hate you but I love your watch Thats the one Oneman. Maybe one day Mike I found this watch in the middle east in 1999, had it appraised and verified when I got back to Canada and I couldn't believe how old it was (knew nothing about Omegas back then)...looks so modern still and was in great shape! Glad you like it! Here's a shot of the strap...chunky bracelet...love it....far left...
maxman Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 All I can say is "you have a very special watch Imo". I hope one day to purchase such a watch. There is one on E-bay for $1.200,mint cond so the seller says. Thats a very nice collection you have there, Wear them well Mike

Fidestro Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 I suppose the Navitimer needs mentioned on here as well.
