rckh Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Dear Friends: Long wait had ended! My AP RB2 finished its' servicing & arrived today. Overall; it's one of the best rep I ever have. Simple comment as below: Case : Ti case is much lighter than Stainless steel. Brush are even & high quality, no sharp edge in every single corner Bezel : Ceramic Brushed on surface & high polished on side which give a lot of contrast. It keep shining when you move your wrist. Crown : Big crown let you adjust your watch easily. However; the gasket on tube have me feel strange when I tighten the crown.....First time when I screw in the crown; almost make me thought the thread had already stripped.. Dial: Day mag a little bit too right compare with gen. I guess it's one of the flaw of this rep. Leather Strap : Quality is over my expectation. High quality & extremely soft. Try it first before you really going to order a expensive one from APband.... Deployant Buckle : Ti also; same construction as all SS @12sec. However; it's not luck for me as usual due to my skinny wrist 6"...Therefore I swap it to the Tang buckle from APband. It's Stainless Steel; but brushed into a dark colour & match the Ti colour. Case back : All engravement is clear & accurate. My RB2 is 0066/1000, How about yours? Movement : I request watchsmith to overhaul service & regulate my movement under +/- 4sec/per day. Until now; it keep very accurate according to my computer's clock. tomorrow; I'll know whether it fullfill my requirment or not. Running sec@12 smooth like silk; no jumpy or jerky. Also, Chronograph running smooth & rest at dead zero. Overall; I'm very happy with my RB2. It's so long time I haven't got a rep which make me feel it's so beautiful, Luxury & an expensive watch feeling. I heard many members complain about the failure of @12sec movement. According to The Zigmeister; it's a stable & sucessful modified A7750 like @3sec before. Time will tell how it really work; from now on it'll stay on my wrist or sleep in my winder. Let's hope it'll keep running & error feel! @Puretime Angus : Thx so much for QC my watch!!! Photos Time! *** Please Don't mind the day is not center; it's almost 23:00 so the day wheel start its' move...*** best Regards, Raymond

ThinkBachs Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Great watch, thanks for sharing! The first mod I'd do if I were you for that watch can be found here...
alanytical Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Another way to get big wrists...adopt the American diet. Anyway, great watch and nice pictures. You should be really happy with that one. Looks good.
JHM Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 Makers, please fix the plate under the dial like the GEN, that you can see a part of the movement and I will buy this beauty direct. She's gorgeous where her well
fotoman Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 i thought that watch was totally ridiculous, then i saw your photos now i'm impressed, and want one
ExtraExtra Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 That is definitely nice. It looks awesome! A blue version - dial and strap just came out and that is just as good. Forking the $$ for this is tough price is almost the price of eta7753 reps.
usctrojans11 Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 Does anyone have experience with the Rose Gold sec @12 version?
neverworn Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 this is an awesome watch!! liove mine to Shot with DMC-FX01 at 2009-07-01
Samurai Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Very nice. I have this both in Ti and RG. The Ti version has the serial no. 0563/1000 (which I think is more believable...as my first one, that I sold, had the serial no. 0063). This is indeed a very well replicated watch.
308GTS Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Any one have the Barrichello III in RG?... Pics please.
Samurai Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Search button is your friend mate. Here is the link to my RBII in RG. Cheers
plaifender Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Watch looks great.. Not sure it's my style.. mabye a bit too... futuristic?? It appears quite big for your wrist... looks like you've got about 3cm or so of space between the watch and your wrist..
jkirke Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Love it, Love it, Love it! For sure one to add to the collection! Excelletn pics and write-up!
Fluffy Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 I might be lost, but I don't think it said what movement was in it? Could you comment, and if it's ETA have you had it verified?
tech Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 I might be lost, but I don't think it said what movement was in it? Could you comment, and if it's ETA have you had it verified? Its an Asian copy of the Valjoux 7750...not an ETA but a copy of one....its listed in the OP as A7750
