Rubens Barrichello II Plate Modification

Whoever said modding the plate was easy, well, it's not.

The following took bloody 4 hours for the first attempt, and the positions are slightly off. But doesn't look too bad at this point.

Things to do:

- Hand polish the extra holes I've cut. They're quite rough

- Fix some of the positioning

- Find better fitting screws

- Brushing the plate into a satin finish; then plating it with white gold.

Forget about the Geneve wave decorations, it's impossible without the right tools.

In the photo, I've simply polished the original swirl plate to a mirror shine.

An excellent attempt bro. Looks really good. Anyday much better than the stock bare plate.

Am sure you'll get it right in another couple of attempts. Let me know if you would be willing to offer this as a service here.

Top job MrB, most impressive!! Welcome to the boards, this is one of the more interesting intro's for sure!! lol

You have done great work man, think you would have a good line of customers wanting this done if you offer it out to the board!!
