The following took bloody 4 hours for the first attempt, and the positions are slightly off. But doesn't look too bad at this point. Things to do: - Hand polish the extra holes I've cut. They're quite rough - Fix some of the positioning - Find better fitting screws - Brushing the plate into a satin finish; then plating it with white gold. Forget about the Geneve wave decorations, it's impossible without the right tools. In the photo, I've simply polished the original swirl plate to a mirror shine.
