Hi everyone, today the newest incarnation of my 5513 arrived in the mail. It now sports a beautiful gilt dial and hands that have been relumed. In addition a new rep 702 crown and tube were installed. Heck after the polish, the 2 year old crystal even looks great!! I wasn't 100% sold on the Yuki gilt di when I got it, but it looks simply stunning in person and will now join (or temporarily kick out) my gen 1680 from rotation for the near future!! I do think this 14060 DLC w/ the 3-6-9 dial has possibilities

dbanes883's a superior product at half the price, I know because I bought it wore it and now it is raffled off.

Mod it into a fantasy watch new dial and oh yes take that damn sticker off the backcase and replace the crystal or try to remove the date mag ! that way you will have a cool watch that cost you next to nothing, a little bit of beveling on the case edges rafflestime has cheap dials and hands ! i see it as a snowflake sub !!

Almost impossible unless you are the Hulk and very stupid.... Never ever encountered a 6497 movement which was overwound. Which means the main spring bridle or main spring itself broke.
