A huge thank you to @Rolexman. Trimming the stem worked a treat and my beloved beater is now back where she belongs. Top marks for such a simple but effective fix . Start: Middle: Finished:

Hi, Thank You. Unfortunately not! I have this watch built for joyful and he wanted to have the price as low as possible! So I have the existing crown reworked!

Never thought about such simple solution!

+1 on the 2824. Stem height on the 2836 is appropriate to replace older movements, like the 3035 and supposedly the 15XX series, but not the 3135. That's why 2836 reps always have the wrong crown height.
