Well son, what we have here is canal street's finest. The watch you own is the first rep I bought back in NY some 7-8 years ago. They go for about $50-$75 bucks. I believe they come from china and you better not get it wet! I am certain is has one of those 21 jewel movt's in it. It may not be pretty but it will keep time. You won't ever be late for a meeting but DO NOT try to fool anyone with it okay?

Yes. The gold is in great shape! It has been 4 years not 2. The center links are gold through out, not plated or wrapped. I was adamant about this when I bought it because I knew I would be wearing the watch a lot. I have buffed and polished this watch at least 6 times with my dremel with wenol cream or with that "never dull" wadding. I clean the gold with toothpaste when it oxidizes once a year. I think if it was plated it would have turned by now! I have invicta's that are 6 month's old and the "swiss gold layering" is already wearing through without even being cleaned or polished. It's a real nice watch. I'm glad I bought it.

I think my TT Sub is one of TW's best. Anyone know how to get these scratches out of the insert? It came off a few years ago and I scraped it on the ground while picking it up.....The bezel insert is genuine and the gold is hollow solid links. The crown is gold as well. Kodak P850:

Oh I almost forgot the reason I entered this thread! We got 8-10 inches of snow in chicago today, so I pulled out the beast: It's my 50mm Adee Kaye chrono with 24mm strap. I've since changed the strap to a heavy duty diver's band. It's a monster!

This is good info stang. I can appreciate watches of all types. Unfortunately, I think info like this falls on deaf ears around here. Most are so focused on MBW great white 187 modded franken TW best with extra lume! Forgive the rant, but I have just gotten bored with reading post after post of guys criticizing beautiful watches because a screw, bezel or some other minute detail is slightly off from the genuine article. I mean damn! Just because it's not a PAM or 6263 is it not still a beautiful watch?

How about just paying the $100 bucks for a multi-day ticket............I mean damn. You love watches don't you?

Yeah, I got bumped. This was way before I found the board. I not mad anymore because the gold is solid. None of the typical triple-double wrap crap! You know........ Yes, they are hard to resist for $50 bucks at the outlet store. Especially when they are all still retailing at Nordstrom from $195 to $495 right now! Thanks for your comments.

I just filled my last winder with a couple of shopnbc watches. Nothing fancy, but good deals nonetheless. The black one is a Croton daydate with rosegold plated bezel. I took the cheesy looking bracelet off and put a basic black contrast stich strap. The white one is the Android daydate with high lume numerals. It's pretty nice. It also has a see thru back. Both watches came with swiss eta 2836-2' movts. I paid $300 bucks for both shipped.

I'm telling you, it's a very good bargain for a guy who is just getting into photography. It will also serve you well as you become more experienced. shot with kodak P850 at 6-8 inch distance without macro in use.

Yes, I have seen them in the mall here in chicago for around $550-$600. However, I frequently see them go on ebay for less than $500 bucks. They are quality timepieces.........
