  1. Dear felllow addicts , I am really fed up with the bad quality of ALL upo bracelets (removing links to adjust bracelet to wrist you get more than 50% chances to brake them) .... so I am seriously thinking of buying a leather strap with buckle. The only ones (decent) that I can find to fit a 45 mm UPO are these ones from Josh. http://www.jpc8118.c...asp-p-2864.html http://www.jpc8118.c...asp-p-2941.html Has anybody got them yet ?? Any experiences and comments regarding the quality of the buckle and leather ?? Thanks and appreciate the info
  2. Amazing. What a person this Rocketeer. Is keeping somebody else's property and he doesn't really gives a sh#t. I can only thank Rooster that I got my watches back.
  3. RWG , (I guess) has all sorts of technical problems right now
  4. Yep , can't get the link to work either. Edit: I found the link. Down at the very bottom of the main page. It requires you to logon again. It doesn't seem to make any effect either.
  5. I cannot marks topics as "Read" in any of the subforums. Its only me or there are any board issues ?? Thanks
  6. Until few days ago I was using Firefox. Great browser with hell of a lot of addons ....... and with a huge drawback. The tabs on firefox freeze your system. Having and using the latest Firefox version , clearing history and cookies on exit, etc..... ,when browsing RWG (I am using tabs all the time) was freezing my system (XP running on 2GB of Ram). It was hell. So frustrating. BTW, I was getting the freezing problem on RWG (and few other sites) but not in Repgeek for example. Anybody else having that ?? Now I have switched back to Opera v10 and is fast a speed of light. 10, 20 , 30 tabs .... no blink. Not many addons but fast. The only problem that I have with Opera and it happens only with RWG, its that when I click on "(Mark this forum as read)" .... well, it doesn't seem to work !!!! Forum problem ?? Any thoughts ??
  7. Have you looked in to the "Trading Zone" ???? .... maybe you don't remember !! (...just kidding , hope you find it).
  8. Good to see you back Tommy.
  9. You've made a great work to it. One of the few Breits that I like. What's you watch count now Lani ??
  10. TomH's section is gone or am I blind ?
  11. Well , I guess if anyone reading this topic and has a spare Lello date wheel for an IWC ING , pls drop me a PM.
  12. Thanks Jitai , I think is not only an allingment issue but also and mainly the type of the "numbers" used in the date wheel. Mine has round numbers (which is wrong)and genuine has kind of a (big) "square" numbers. I think Lello had some good date wheels in the past (approriate for the IWC Ing) but not any more. I had a look on Ofrei's but he doesn't carry any. Anybody knows any other source where they supply these ?
  13. I have recently acquired a IWC Ingenieur titanium with swiss ETA. Date wheel need change. Any idea where I can find one and if it will fit ?? Thanks guys.
  14. Domenico is a top guy. His work is excellent. He can also do AR .... and even though is not bad , it is not as good as Chief's.
  15. That's no good news. @Rolli: Come on ... sell me yours.
  16. Thank all guys for your help. From what I see , the flat bezel (which then needs polishing) could be a problem if none of these is around. Don't do this any more ?? http://www.jpc8118.com/pn02404-44mm-submessible-asia-7750-p-564.html
  17. Guys and Rolli , I am thinking to start a new project. A PAM 024A (see Rolli's link here: http://www.rwgforum.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=20888 ) ... Rolli , hope you dont mind. The question is which is the best out of the box rep to get and from which dealer , in order to use it a "base" watch the modification ?? Apart from the SS polished besel and case (I think case is also polished), what else needs to done .... especially on the dial to get it wright ?? Rolli , pop in pls. Thanks guys
  18. Look great and the price is really good. @ebzen: Gould you give us some details ?? - url of the watch - How is the AR in person ?? - PR is working OK ?? Will appreciate it.
  19. @Robbie: It was really a bad and sad surprise to hear about your condition. Don't know what to say. ... keep up and force your brain and heart both to be fully operational. Often these two things keep the rest of the body and can help heal and recovery. Will be very glad to hear you back saying ... "I am feeling much better guys".
