I agree, France's attitude toward 9-11 sucks big time... Americans are more and more unpopular in the country (people tend to get confuse between the American people and the Bush administration)... @Victoria, that's not only very bad taste, but totaly intentional, it's - IMHO - a total lack of respect. I know for a fact that those ads generate a much better revenue than Google's AdSense, so go for it, if you can find a way to remove ads for VIP member, then fine, those who want a work safe website know what to do. (since nobody at work know that my reps are reps, it's not work safe anyway ) ThePiratebay.org have been using them for long, and they make much more thant what it takes to pay the rent, not to mention explicitly adult oriented P2P websites... eBay mini malls could also prove to be money generating... so would amazon affiliation on books (watch oriented, of course), and Apple affiliation during christmas (think iPod)...

to tell U the truth, it took me a few years before realizing that... well... my PP account is frozen, so there's nothing I can do right now, but as a marketing pro, I'd suggest selling watch related books using an amazon affiliation account (hint: http://www.zlio.com , very easy to use, creates cool widgets that are easy to integrate, and act as a go between amazon and you... ) Adsense or Overture could also be used (hint: place the ads every 5 post in a threat) The last option would be to place some banners on top of each page (you'll have to find a proper service for this, no idea witch one would be the best, but obviously a US based one), the 'maxi banner' (728x90 pixels) is the best money generating one. With all this in place, it should generate some revenues, my guess is that this should be enought to pay the rent. Last, but not least, organising raffle could generate some revenues, but this could prove to be a hassle to set up. Now, when it comes to the legal side : - setting up a small ecommerce using Zlio : almost noo risk, Zlio being a small company, and being a go between, you'll never be in any relationship with amazon. - AdSense, Overture : could be a risk (they'll just close your account) - raffle : no risk An alternative could be to set up a big self promotion banner with a message like 'Have you payed your membership today ?'... no risk, if you need some help with the graphics, please PM me, I'd be glad to help. There's two comparable events in Paris, one before summer (Gay Pride) and one after the summer (Techno Parade), the later one is quite similar to the Love Parade, depending on weather, it can be pretty crowdy, but still smaller that the german Love Parade (Germany is a far better place than France when it comes to techno music).

Spain, IMHO, is a must... prostitution IS legal, smoking weed IS legal, food IS great, girls are pretty... weather IS nice... growth rate is between 5 and 10% a year... th econnected dots seems to be the only flaw, but the dial is so gorgous comared to the grey one that I can do with that. The blue dial IMHO makes that watch.
