  1. Hmm... then how about the jelly strap. It's basically the rubber strap, but it's made of some soft, jelly like, stuff. Very comfortable. Sorry, I'm just throwing things out there in hopes that one will stick.
  2. Have you taken a look at the rubber straps or the SS bracelets? They're both very good. Good luck.
  3. Yes, I'm already looking to have it sent out for the spa treatment. Thanks.
  4. Great, thanks for the info.
  5. Thanks for the info. I guess you just have to live and learn. So, can you please direct me to a dealer that I "should" have gone with? Thanks.
  6. Thanks guys I have an e-mail into Vac and now the wait begins.
  7. With pictures like those ^^^ this site is getting dangerous.
  8. Hey why not? Sounds like a good project to me. It also sounds like you know your way around the internals of a watch, which is a lot more than I can say for myself. So, it should be good to watch you on your progress. Good luck and please post pictures. z
  9. I have seen the movie, but can't seem to recall that character at the moment. Care to elaborate? Well, I guess it doesn't really matter east or west, but I just wanted to see which of our moders are CONUS.
  10. Something I contemplated when I had mine is a switch to a domed crsytal. I think that a domed one would suit it better.
  11. So is there an ETA of when the site will be up and running? I mean I can't seem to get a hold the Angus for the past two weeks.
  12. By the way, nice stoggies.
  13. Is there any modders that are West coast CONUS that does good work? Thanks in advance. z
  14. The strap that comes from Steinhart is very nice. It's thick and very supple.
  15. I was just aobut to say that. Nice. Enjoy.
  16. Anyone? Does this one seem remotely like the gen? Or what positives and negatives do you see on it? Some input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. z
  17. Ok, so I couldn't wait for Angus to get in touch with after waiting an entire two weeks. So I went and pulled the trigger on this. http://www.watch-ebay.net/ProductsView.asp?id=1663 What do you guys think? It's supposedly a PAM113 (white dial) and was pretty cheap. I have no idea on how close to the gen it is or the quality from this dealer. I've read some good stuff about him/her though so I'm crossing my fingers. Please give me your input on the watch. Thanks. Z
  18. I've asked the same question before and the general consensus is that the PAM111H PAM111E's are pretty close to the gen and are readily available. As I've been told, all reps have faults and you pretty much won't find one that's already perfect. Well, other than the gen. So from what I've learned so far is that you should start your project with a pretty good jump off point, such as a PAM111 and then "upgrade" from there. Then you should have a pretty good jump off point to get to your "perfect" rep. Good luck.
  19. Very nice! I had the limited edition 18k gold plated version of that Steinhart. Very nice and the seethrough back offers a lot of eye candy. Enjoy!
  20. I read that rex450 on repgeek does beat blasting. You might want to contact him.
  21. Nice Lifter. Do a little write up on her as soon as you get some wrist time. Enjoy!
