  1. A picture is worth a thousand words as they say.... Taken yesterday after the supposed alleged event - stil think it happened exactly as reported???
  2. Liverpool FC have today released the following statement from manager Rafael Benitez. "I met this morning with the entire first team squad and made it absolutely clear to all of them the responsibilities that come with playing for this club and the way they are expected to conduct themselves both on and off the pitch. "The players worked extremely hard at last week's training camp, but we will take disciplinary action and fine any of them who are found to have breached club rules during our stay in Portugal. I've told the players this and they understand and accept the decision I have taken. "Despite reports to the contrary, the spirit amongst the lads is very good with everyone looking forward to the game against Barcelona on Wednesday. "We remain totally focussed on what will be a very tough game against the defending European Champions." Sounds to me like a minor argument between two players and someone telling porkies to certain elements of the media, who were only to pleased to print it Roll on Wednesday....hey JTB, can you dust the cobwebs off the Official RWG Champions League Pool thread please
  3. Looking forward to raising a glass with you T and toasting "here's to £470m (or does $900 million sound better ) and number 6" As for todays "revelations" of JAR, a pugnacious Welshman and a sand wedge, let's just say considering the source and the timing () I'm inclined to just think . First it was Eto'o and his fight with Rijkaard and "revelations" that the Nou Camp resembles something out one of Shakespeare's 'history' plays, and now it's the turn of the "English" club out drunk and causing trouble abroad according to their "unnamed source" - yeah right. I mean FFS, anyone who believes the club/Rafa would allow them to go out on the [censored] mid-season never mind a few days before their most important and high-profile match of the year, is a fool.....but then as I said if you're reading THAT newspaper anyway...
  4. Guess you'll not appreciate my "greatest photos of the British Museum" collection then?
  5. Andreww, congrats on your purchase - however I'm a bit perplexed as your datefont looks very different to all the other U-POs (and obviously the gen PO) I've seen, including mine. It seems very apparent from your pics taken today (16th) - the '1' has a very distinct serif and the '6' looks very 'squared' - compare it with chrgod's pic just above this post for example.
  6. That would be my preference/recommendation
  7. Quite, like I need THAT right now Stay low, keep moving, stealth mode - they don't call me Teflon Doc for nothin'
  8. I'm here Marco Sorry just been tied up with life stuff. I picked up a 6541 of these a few months back for peanuts - plan to turn into 6542. So sure count me in as "very interested party"
  9. If it was "100% Original Omega" then the seller should be able to provide a model/case ref no. for it. Alternatively, you should be able to find that info easily online. The fact that you haven't been able to do either would concern me. But then, it might be a rare early/rejected/prototype dial for the 2226.80.00 - strange how it's almost a negative version with metal surrounded indices but plain embossed 'swirl' (as opposed to lume indices and metal-edged swirls) - almost as if it was a prototype which was rejected.....or a fake of course! Curious.....
  10. So the old trout (MU) is stalking you huh? Seriously, doesn't sound like fun - hope things go back to stress-free in Casa Nanuq asap.
  11. See HERE Option A] Snowed in and internet down? Option B] Gone "up country" with rucksack and rifle? Option C] Gone "up country" with Miss Understood?
  12. That's the baby! Positively anorexic Nice to see you back Bob
  13. Case profile is still way too thick. These early models like 6541, 6542, 1675 were daintily thin...
  14. A dark and empty room covered with cobwebs you mean? Do you think they'll mind me sleeping in the trophy room at Ibrox?
