The Omega SMP is a gen that can be gotten pretty cheap. If your willing to go for quartz, you can probably get a nice
used one for under a $1000. Check out Timezone or other gen forums.
I think the new 42mm Planet Oceans are very nice, you can get one with 21J mov't for about $150.
Good luck.
PS: I'm a Neurologist myself, but I lost my job because I logged too many hours in here while
taking Provigil and flunked my boards!! Jeje, only kidding man- welcome
Thanks alot! Its an older BK model, probably Noob TT really a super rep IMO, also keeps perfect time for about 3 years.
Thats why he's 'da man' for Rollies
For Sunday- APROO monster on SS
Watch Eden is not 1/2 the price of other dealers. They have tons of cheaper 21J and quartz watches the other dealers don't stock up on.
For the similiar watch they can actually be more expensive. I just ordered my first from them (cheap Tudor quartz) let you know how it turns out.
Personally, I've dealt with PureTime many times without a problem, but my last order has been a nightmare.
I'm not an IT guy, but it sure feels like there's a commercial motive to all this.
I don't see why a young geek would attack all the boards and several big dealers, including Angus
at the same time. Perhaps it was a show of computer prowess? But that would remain anonymous-
not much real motive there-IMO. On the other hand, the gen makers have alot more at stake.
Just my 2 cents.
