They are a very good deal and he is a very good guy. Only problem-for me- 21J movements I think. If you want ETA you might need to get a 4th generation model. I think they're hard to find. Check with Josh about that one.

Recently got this vintage style GMT from Josh. Doesn't look too bad(I'm not really an expert)but it sure is light and flimsy. Maybe the real things weighed 80 grams -not sure?

While the costs are obviously not comparable, neither are the reps and gens in the overwhelming majority of cases. One thing I haven't seen mentioned so far is reliability. A pretty large % of my reps have had some issues especially with the movements breaking. Sometimes within a few weeks. I have a pretty big gen collection besides the reps and I can say that there's NO comparison on that end. Even when a rep is visually very impressive, they usually don't work the same. For ex. I have a modded APROO I bought from a member here. It looks almost gen (I put a OEM rubber strap on it too). The watch however runs like [censored]- 3 min fast/day (after 4 adjustments by the watchsmith). I doubt that would be the case with the gen. Of course I wouldn't spend 20K on a SS watch with a rubber band either!

Hard to go wrong with the Chanel J12 white version. You can get a quartz version for $88 @ ReplicaMake! Most women would like the Rolex DJ either white dial or the salmon dial.The blue DD that By-Tor suggested is super nice also. Catier Roadster or Baloon Blue are other choices.

I did almost the same thing- put an OEM rubber strap on. I like the watch so much I bought the gen (brown face) The rep S/S bracelet is kinda sharp and loose. I had to polish it and sand the edges. But, as you see side by side, the rep is very good. I doubt anyone would call it out.
