Baume Riviera Magnum Chrono PVD - Asian 7750 28.8K - Immaculate 1:1 copy. As new recently obtained from a member. If you are interested in any of the above please PM and let me know. The only reason that these are being sold is that I have just returned from Grand Cayman and paid a visit to Kirk Freeport and walked away with a gen Cartier Roadster and I need to plug the hole in my bank account. All of the above are spot on otherwise I would not sell anything on. I am limiting myself to 4 reps and 2 gens until the new year starts and will then be buying in earnest again. Father Christmas I ain't but maybe we can agree on a deal or deals to make it a festive transaction.
  2. Andy - I was 12 years in mate, which included many tours of NI, the Falklands and first Gulf War! Remembrance Day is for those of us that are living to take time out and reflect on the debt of gratitude that we owe those that made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives. It is certainly not for those that still have possession of it. I am quite passionate about this special day having lost friends myself and think that it is very important to remember those that can't be here to have a beer with their mates. I can't quite understand how any serving soldier, airman or matelot could confuse such a day of dedication. It seems to me that it is a rather sad indictment on the establishment, as it now appears that the ignorance of civilians has spilled over into the Armed Forces. This distinction needs to be made and reinforced for those that clearly confuse what this day actually means. I am surprised to even be having a "conversation" of this kind with someone that purports to be serving in the military. This was taken directly from the RBL website; Remembrance Sunday is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. On this day people across the nation pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by our brave Service men and women. I am not in any way denigrating the efforts made by our troops and those of our allies, in fact I am actively involved in a veterans' association, but feel that this attempt at hijacking Remembrance Day whether through ignorance or other reasons should not go un-noticed or un-remarked upon so that the record is set straight by someone who knows and has been there, got the T-shirt, the books, the DVD and the medals to prove it. And for the record I am not trying to make this a "my [censored]'s bigger than yours" contest - I just feel that it should be highlighted so that the meaning and reason is not lost.
  3. What for?? Have you risen from the dead?
  4. Buy some expanding foam place the watch in a sandwich bag spray in the foam and it will never be rattled about - lol. No seriously, the better it is padded the less chance that it will slip and slide and grate. Bubblewrap, cardboard, small jiffy and then pop in a larger one. You could then kick it all the way to its ultimate destination. I have never given it much thought about whether to charge the watch or not but I would certainly leave the crown in for the reasons given above.
  5. IN FLANDERS FIELDS. In Flanders field the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.
  6. I altered the bracelet on my UPO - It took me an hour. Hardest hour's work I have ever done, but it's done. Does that qualify as a modder? Seriously, that was difficult to do when you have fingers like sausages.
  7. Handful of shaving foam and a tootbrush - Comes up like new.

  15. Why on earth would you want to win a toilet?
  16. My last word on this - or two words, or several............. Absolute Bollox........ I have never been to watch association football or soccer in my life and I have been going for 40 years. Whilst your google history lesson may "educate" the ignorant, I would simply say that it's not known as soccer by the people that watch the game in England, which as far as I am aware is in the UK. If I asked any of my mates to come and watch the "soccer" match, I would get hammered. Perhaps you have become slightly sicophantic? Ask the Gers & Bhoys supporters how many soccer games they have been to. They're likely to use your [censored] as a bottle opener. But I think that perhaps this is starting to digress from the thread's theme so it will be my last post on the matter. A plague on Hublot and Man Ure. (Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and West Ham).
  17. You can't be playing it right
  18. It may be "Soccer" the way you Yankee girls play the game, but the game is FOOTBALL. Gawd Bless the Queen. BTW - The right team is back at the top of the league this weekend. Carefree wherever we may be...............
  19. Alright Marky - I'm not too far away from you - (Andover) I am often up at the Designer Outlet. I can't afford to go there any more though as I spend all my money here!! Welcome - I can do no more than reiterate what fitmic has advised - read, read, read before you ask too many questions. The answers are generally available if you use the search button.
