  1. I wouldn't even go this far. I use a Dremel for polishing and nothing else. You can get a perfect mirror with a Dremel buffer:
  2. I have the 'gold' leather one. I'd call it 'honey' myself. The leather is good quality. My wrist is the same size as yours and looks like this: On a Bob for Breitling, it looks like this:
  3. Pugwash

    mbw subs

If you were a VIP, you'd not be asking.
  4. Don't even consider wasting those parts in anything less than an MBW.
  5. You're at cross purposes. Uhren is asking about getting stuff sent TO the UK and you're replying about stuff sent FROM the UK.
  6. Check out my photo tutorials below my signature. When taking movement photos, flat diffused light is obligatory.
  7. Aw, shucks! If there's nothing mechanically wrong, you may need to just chalk this one up to experience. Have you spoken to the guy? He may have a replacement. If not, what you've described is the sort of thing I'd fix. Pop the crystal, clean it, put it back together. If you can't do this, do you have any watchsmiths nearby?
  8. My rule is ... if I can't fix it myself, back it goes. If it looks exactly like it did in the pictures and I find a design defect upon closer inspection, like a word in too bold type or something, then that's my problem.
  9. As a fellow member said previously ... The Zigmeister FTW!!!111one
  10. Today's watch was chosen by my sister-in-law. It's good to get other people to churn up your cycle from time to time.
  11. Fear is the mind killer. He's been claiming to be the true Alicia Witt's bro for a while.
  12. NO-ONE IS PMING MEMBERS WITH SECRET INFORMATION! Sheesh, TT had a couple of parts spare and offered them to the poster. He didn't pass on the holy grail of secret ETA supplies ... There are several parts suppliers mentioned in this post. Here you go: In the US, use Jules Borel. http://www.julesborel.com/ In the UK/EU, use Cousins. http://www.cousinsuk.com/ Oh, and some people are getting ETA datewheels from http://watchpart.co.uk/ Happy?
  13. I've not come across anyone in the UK/EU on these forums that will service an Asian 7750. I sent mine to The Zigmeister in Canada and am very happy with the results. Maybe you can take advantage of the fact Master Ziggifinicator prices using the weak US dollar.
  14. spdshift22 was looking for one.
  15. Is that smiley doing the other up the wrong 'un?
  16. Any non-CGI images of this watch?
  17. It means "Fro Teh Winz0rz" Or "For the win". It's a geek way of saying "You go, girlfriend".
  18. If all it takes is concise and erudite use of the English language to win you over, then I can present a well hypothesised inferral that would necessitate the proximity of a thesaurus. Would that it were the case that a grasp of language be all that were needed to end this discussion, Joe's pugilistic approach to meting out phrases as short, incoherent infant-speak, as like a teen thumbing a Nokia's much put upon interface, should put that matter to rest.
  19. This, by the way, is an interesting discussion.
  20. Yes, but it's both illegal and immoral. Oh, and pawnbrokers tend to have dangerous friends. Defrauding someone with fakes is one of the things we frown upon here.
  21. Enough of all the scandals and fireworks going down on the forums, let's get back to watches! Today, in the garden, I decided on the Panerai 127 "1950". Yes, and the photo was chosen for its "I has a bucket" connotations.
  22. Welcome back, Master Zigginator.
  23. Well, he wouldn't let it lie and got himself banned.
  24. Joe does good CGs, from what I hear. If you've got a good watch, people ragging on the modder doesn't stop it from being a good watch.
  25. Would you like it affordable? It's a good trade-off, if you ask me. The AR sapphire makes it, without a doubt, but can't be cheap.
