  1. The Tissot Visodate is one of the best value watches out there at under £300.
  2. If you're after Asian 7750s, ask your dealer. They will be able to help more than we can. .
  3. I found this place by Googling "Shitinerand" quite a few years ago. Ah, I remember being an enthusiastic noob. The joy.
  4. I just can't see the appeal. That's a lot of effort for, essentially, a bad replica.
  5. It's a good enough iPod. Nothing wrong with them, but if you're going to put it in a permanent enclosure, I'd consider replacing the battery first. If it's removable, then don't worry about it just yet. Mrs Pugwash had the 1st gen and it's probably still working, but she uses an 80GB Classic in the car and a tiny latest gen Shuffle for the gym.
  6. Reminds me of my favourite busker, Ed Alleyne-Johnson:
  7. I don't know how you can compare it to an iPhone. It's nothing like it. http://support.apple.com/kb/SP25 Picture: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ipod_nano.JPG
  8. Tudor are already using Sellita movements, so that's the most likely explanation. I'd bet money on this being the case.
  9. I picked this Steinhart GMT (ETA 2893) for £300.

    Tudor...

    It's a 1950s gen.
  11. Congratulations on the collection. I really like the NOS 300.
  12. Get a Ziplock bag for your phone (sealable sandwich bags at your local supermarket) and use that a your camera. I have a waterproof cover for my SLR which comes in useful at places like Silverstone where rain is inevitable, as can be seen below.
  13. Um, yeah, but I'd assumed if this were the case, he wouldn't be asking us. Maybe that was a bit daft.
  14. … and if it were to get attention, it would be "can you get me MBWs?" or similar. Welcome on board.
  15. If this really is happening as you describe, your movement is screwed. I suspect missing teeth in a cog or something.
  16. Looks like the extra crown is for turning the bezel. If you do cannibalise that watch for the movement, try and keep the old parts safe because I like the old Longines.
  17. Those sound like aftermarket rims. 2.2 bar would be be settings for the normal 60R18 tyres, and to be honest, that should do you fine too. http://www.tyre-pressures.com/ByCar/MAZDA/CX-7/5+DOOR+ESTATE+-+6+SPEED+MANUAL+-+PETROL/16V/2261/07+MAY
  18. The reason this one is actually a car is that the engine is powering the wheels, as opposed to being a buggy with a jet engine on it. If you stop using car technology, you can go way faster than 426mph.
  19. Camera+ "Clarity" filter. The rest was done in the lens. It got me second prize in a competition, too.
  20. Point and Shoot? Again, this was taken with my phone:
