What about the second hand being in completely the wrong place?
  2. Yes, she's trying to rebrand herself.
  3. Not going to happen. You take a camera into the bars with the "No Photography" posters and you don't get it back.
  4. Loupe, please. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loupe There are a few watches that certain people will spot from a mile away as reps. For me, it's the 45mm Planet Ocean, the GST Chrono and possibly the Rolex Sub. Some people, however, will have this one as their choice.
  5. Sort of. It lives on, though. http://www.wo-mart.com/images/abay.gif
  6. Aspire, bestswiss, abay, wo-mart ... I think there was another one as well, but I'm not sure.
  7. Isn't she now called Katie Price again?
  8. Oh, and Ricky Gervais wears a Tag Monaco in Extras.
  9. Watching Numb3rs, as one does, and I spotted this watch. Anyone know what it is? It looks like a crappy Modern Panerai copy. More on watches in Numb3rs soon, as I think Epps wears a Spit.
  10. Yeah, how about a TTK Noobmariner or Noobmariner LV? They're not too pricey and they will make ideal second or third prizes. Everyone needs one, see.
  11. Here's your first correction: It's spelled ECONOMISTS.
  12. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wat_Hong Are these the dancers you meant?
  13. This photo is ideal reference for a painting, yes. His regal, dignified look was what inspired me to take the picture. The solid stance dictated the camera angle, which added the difficulty.
  14. The Monk on the train is by far a better picture, and was exceedingly difficult to take as it needed to be taken secretly and from an angle that gave me no chance of checking while taking it. Still, if you don't like the glare, I can try to shop it out.
  15. Today was a day to wear The Legend:
  16. Sure about that?
  17. Ok, here's one from two years ago without glare:
  18. Flaws be damned, mine is in my general rotation: It earns its place on my wrist every week.
  19. ... and there was me thinking it was good because of the glare.
  20. He's the Walmartisation of the rep market. He left here saying how he didn't need us and wrote some very harsh posts about how many sales he had away from the replica sites and that we were nobody. Then he comes crawling back, insulting Precious Time, Josh, TTK, Trusty, etc., and runs a free-watch-for-a-review scam (did anyone get the watch?) and runs another carsy sale after the disaster that was the first one, including a picture of a watch with a price that was a price for a completely different watch. You can go through and see the edited posts if you look hard enough. All in all, if you want a cheap watch and are willing to write it off if it has any problems, then sure, use Paulmart. Just make sure you're using the right one of his four websites as they all have different prices. Oh, let's not forget the "Hi, I'm [censored]" [censored] he foisted upon us, pretending to be a new dealer: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=8284 Come on, his business methods are despicable, and if I don't keep harping on about it, maybe we'll forget, and one day, we'll look for a friendly trusted dealer and they'll all be gone, like the local grocery store put out of business by Walmart.
  21. Excellent! I remember the tales of woe and timing. It's great to see that it all worked out in time. It's a bit tasty, and it looks like it'll deal with the Thai back roads brilliantly. You could even carry an Isaan girl's sick buffalo in the back. As for the monks, I too took a Monk pic. The splash of orange makes for excellent photos. It's for the Wat Hong part of my travelogue, so consider it a sneak preview: (Excuse the size and quality, I'm without my tools at work)
  22. Yeah, this is why I posted too.
