  1. I'm downloading it as I type, but was wondering why you're not using a proper host. When I'm not Pugwash, but my secret identity, I've been podcasting for over a year and found the whole hosting thing rather easy.
  2. Today, it's still this one: ... but I'm off back here to get my SKX031 later today:
  3. Joe, you can end this thread merely by telling us how many watches you have outstanding. It'll stop the cheap shots getting their digs in.
  4. Neil, if you decide to sell your smaller rep Railmaster, give me a shout.
  5. It's a shame you didn't have a chance to weigh the heads and bracelets separately. Were there the same number of links in each bracelet when you weighed it?
  6. Only if James May's IWC counts or if a Thai news reader's fake Sub counts.
  7. Anyone going to see DOA: Dead Or Alive (although having seen it, I'd understand if people didn't ...) should look out for "Max" wearing what looks like a Panerai 111h.
  8. [censored]. It's the best new show this year. Best show for the last few years, so far.
  9. Gen.
  10. Excellent words and pics, as usual. It's great that you got this watch and was able to do such a decent review. Like I've always said, this is the Sub to get if you're new. Bang for buck, TTK delivers on this one. I've had mine since I started in the rep game (feb/march 2006?) and it still gets wrist time. It keeps great time and still looks good. Shocking, shocking value. If you don't have one, even if you don't like Rolexes, you should get this one.
  11. Not really. I've been taking lots of photos, but not of watches.
  12. 6.75" wrist here and 183s look fine, but Fiddys look too big. I tried on a huge Railmaster and an IWC Big Pilot this last week and both were stunning but way too big.
  13. While I was wantering the hallowed watch shops of Bangkok, trying on IWCs and the like, I saw this. You probably all know my opinion of this Daytona, but I actually had the priviledge of seeing this hideous monstrosity in the flesh. I had to try on the genuine SS Daytona to get it out of my system.
  14. You do seem to be fully booked ... remind me not to make any jealous frenchman jokes.
  15. Simon was indeed wearing an IWC Big Pilot. We freeze-framed it to make sure.
  16. I've been walking the markets of Bangkok looking for a decent Aquatimer rep, even an Asian 21j one, but they're all really crappy so far. I may get lucky, but I really doubt it.
  17. I'd send him cash, no probs.
  18. Something tells me this would not be needed. Still, I'll run the tools on the pics when I get home next week, but I'm about 100% sure that it will find no foul play.
  19. Sometimes the best defence isn't a good offense. This is one of those times.
  20. If you want an IWC GST, get it from a dealer with good after-sales service. In fact this goes with all Asian 7750 watches. It's a stunning watch with the best rep bracelet out there. Check this out: http://pugwash.cat5.org/articles/gst/
  21. As I'll be in Bangkok until the 16th, I can't make it.
  22. I believe I can take good photos with a 5MP camera, and that's why I was looking at upgrading.
  23. I don't get the need to 'test the experts'. What does it prove?
  24. Millenium Hilton, Bangkok.
