  1. ... and just for completeness, here are all 16 of my replicas.
  2. Over on RWI, one Tuesday, myself and another member both posted black seals on a wristshot post. A third member then proclaimed it Black Seal Tuesday and put his on, too. So, whenever it's amusing or something, and it's a Tuesday, you just declare it Black Seal Tuesday and post pics of your 183.
  3. New pics:
  4. You're the one that brought the UN into it. It has absolutely no bearing at any point on the discussion. Nice try, though. I see a lot of hyperbole and rhetoric but no content.
  5. The box was from eBay. It closes fine, even with Soup-plate-sized Panerais in it.
  6. Especially with the "PM me for interesting" bit
  7. Show us some pics and we'll be better equipped to help. There are several possible causes, most of which have been mentioned. However, no-one's mentioned that the auto-focus may not be on centre-mode. You need the AF to focus on the watch and not the surroundings, so check out your camera's manual on how to make sure this is the case.
  8. But ... but it's Friday!
  9. I like variety. All I'm missing is a Daytona and an LV. Maybe a Jones and a 2000M Aquatimer, too.
  10. Strawman. Ttry a real example instead of a completely made up and impossible to counter one.
  11. Leitztozeiss, a Black Seal on a friday? I thought everyone knew Black Seals were for Tuesdays!
  12. Top stuff! It's missing Rehaut, Crown Guards and SEL (Solid End Links), but apart from that, it's damned good. I'll HTMLise it for The Zigmeisterinfo if you email me the word doc.
  13. Thanks. I have a second box (Thanks, Rocket), but it was easier to photograph it this way.
  14. This is an excellent watch, and I'll be wearing it all friday ... or at least until I can get home and change into something else. As for tomorrow and Sunday, I'll post once I've decided.
  15. Not a lot to say about this shot, to be honest. It's eleven watches and a watch box. Apparently, I like Chronos, IWCs, Panerais and divers watches. Who knew?
  16. Maybe because you have to pay for health care you have to get the most out of it and if it were free, you'd stop abusing it? This is your current health insurance system. The difference is, everyone pays a private company that's out to screw them. Imagine health insurance without the paperwork and overheads and need to [censored] over its customers to turn a profit: that's universal health care.
  17. http://www.waccex.de/catalog/
  18. If you have to ask rep-or-gen, then it's a good rep. I was planning on replacing the strap too, but this Honey Croc is growing on me, even considering my dislike of using croc leather. I hope it's fake.
  19. Especially if you use out-of-date and subsequently recanted articles. "I am often asked why we are in Iraq when Saddam Hussein was not responsible for the 9/11 attacks. The answer is that the regime of Saddam Hussein was a clear threat." - George Bush, 2006 CIA say there were no WMDs: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/4484237.stm
  20. So, you ignored all the other countries that do this, and invaded Iraq to help people? So what was all the waffle about WMDs, then? Or the twaddle about supporting Al-Quaeda? If you'd had said at the beginning that it was a humanitarian cause, maybe you'd have got more support from the rest of the world. Instead, you had "God told me to", "He tried to kill ma daddy", WMDs and Terrorists, not one of which was enough for all but your staunchest of allies, and most of which were blatant untruths. I'm all for saving people, but I don't see this as the reason we all went into Iraq on your insistence.
  21. Ducati 748SP here!
  22. I rest my case. Good luck with the work.
  23. It's different because ... well, it's different. I'd never be stupid enough to accuse the US of not doing enough. However, if you can adequately explain why the US (and the coalition of the willing, whatever that means) invaded Iraq, I'll take a different tack. Before you reply, please remove any illusions of me being anti-american from your mind and assume I'm a good friend that just needs it explaining.
  24. I see where you're coming from and admire your beliefs, but you really need to see it from their point of view, which I doubt is possible. The entire situation boils down to this: Both sides know they're right.
  25. In this post, Glitch offered up a Japanese IWC catalogue, full of incredible pics and stuff. I was not going to let this one get away and I PMed him, saying I was interested. He brokje his 'not outside the US' rule for me, for which I am grateful and the catalogue arrived as I was in Scotland for the weekend. Needless to say, it's superb and you'll be seeing it a lot in my IWC pictorials:
