I would love to be able to hold that view, yet the fact that the US is exceedingly selective about which grannies to protect from which muggers goes against that. Where are you in Nigeria, for instance?
Also, the Islamist fundamentalists are merely trying to free the people from the tyranny of an imperialist moral decay, no?
As much as it behoves me to say this, but the US is the single largest exporter of military strength. The one country guilty of spreading their beliefs by sword above all others.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not in any way defending terrorists or fundamentalists, but of all the stances to take, the one of "They're attacking countries outside their borders" is the most hypocritical of them all.
Your best bet is to wind the watch and let it run, with the chrono running for a day. Why? Because it can't hurt it.
As for being dry, almost all our reps are delivered dry, it's just that some movements handle it better, notably the 2836. If you want the watch to last, a service may be a good idea, but these movements need it less than the older ones.
That and the lack of lume on the rep.
Oh, and the little-known (or seen) issue of the hour sub-dial not being aligned perfectly on-axis, but let's not worry too much about that one, eh?
Woah, dead? Who died? It was a bloodless coup.
Are we talking about the same thing, or are you only just finding out about the Tsunami?
I just spoke to my brother in Bangkok, and he said that there are no known deaths related to the coup.
Well, I've been wearing this all day and it catches my eye often. I don't know what The Zigmeister did, but I reckon he put some magic dust in it. It looks ... more beautiful than before. Like the blacks are richer and the crystal clearer. The Genuine dial seems more deep and rich in colour. It just looks cleaner behind the crystal.
I don't know, it's not something I'll be able to photograph, so you'll just have to take my word for it. It's much improved.
Oh, and the chrono button clicks in much smoother and feels more positive. Amazing work, The Zigmeister.
Maybe you're just servicing the 7750s wrong
I now have a gen 7753 and three asian 7750s, one of which is pictured above. One 7750 has been serviced, so we'll see how they last.
The busy bezel is one of the defining personality traits of the Navitimer. If you don't like it, a Navitimer isn't for you.
I like the slide-rule bezel, I just wish it was useable on this rep.
Global universal health care is by far the best idea. That way, you can treat anyone withoutn any bureaucracy at all. If they are in hospital, they're entitled to care, they get treated. How much tax money would that save on medicare bureaucracy?
Health Care is a mark of a civilised society. Limiting it by age makes no sense because somewhere, someone will unjustly die.
I never understood the fear of universal free health care. Are the fit and healthy afraid of paying for the sick?
See, I'm a purist when it comes to photos. I take the pic with the hands pointing where they're pointing and the dates semi-rolled over. Only on rare occasions do I set the watch to 10:08 or align the date cleverly. There's no point in falsifying beyond mild photoshop enhancements.
This is what it looked like before The Zigmeister graciously refitted my date wheel (and a genuine dial):
It's ok, it's on your left arm.
ps. this joke was originally about lawyers and makes more sense that way as wouldn't the policeman also be a londoner? Also, how did he dial the police with only one hand? All these questions, and we need answers, damnit!
