  1. If by that, you mean a replica rolex will never be as good as a genuine, well, sure. However, if you mean a replica with a 2836 vs a gen with a 2836, after a service, they're identical inside.
  2. Does anyone know how much these cost or is it a secret?
  3. Well, I told him it was (or they were) a fake and he asked me how I knew. Repeatedly. I didn't reply to that, obviously. Twunt.
  4. Welcome to the forum. If you're in the UK, as your flag suggests, I would highly recommend Precious Time. He's UK-based, so you get stuff fast without customs hassles, and he has exceedingly high quality stuff, on par with that of Joshua, Eddie Lee, Andrew, etc., and he's got amongst the best customer service around. Also, for the more unusual and obscure replicas, you should consider Narikaa when he gets back from his travels. He's also in the UK and sells the more off-the-wall watches. Definitely worth a look, and his customer service is possibly the best you'll get here. The UK is very lucky to have two high-calibre dealers. It'd be a shame if you didn't consider them.
  5. I agree. I wasn't trying to scare everybody, I was just stating ... well, stuff.
  6. I'm not shouting doom-and-gloom. ETAs run fine out of the box. The fact they run so well without a service just shows how well designed and made they are. They can run fine even when dry or badly lubed. If you don't get your brand new ETA serviced, will it last? Most likely, yes. Will it benefit from a service? Sure, but you'll probably not notice. Is there a need to get it serviced? Probably not, no. However, what I am saying is that when you get a new Tissot, you can be sure the ETA 2836 is in better condition than one from a replica Sub, unless you've paid for a service.
  7. Ok, nice MoonWatch, By-Tor. I'm going to shock everyone and say I'm wearing this:
  8. I actually had to go back to basics for this. Pythagoras and everything! 210cm
  9. Excellent news. I'm happy for you. You're a Troll and you serve no purpose on these boards. If you're anywhere as near as belligerent in real life as you are on the internet, I hope your next beating isn't fatal. (Seriously, I don't get the appeal. You come on, you insult people, you lose the respect of your peers. Wouldn't it be better to just give up the stupid head-butting and try to be part of the community instead of 'that twunt over there'?)
  10. You're also forgetting the decrease in the use of child and/or slave labour. With so many namby-pamby lily-livered liberals chaining themselves to whales over human rights, the use of child labour is getting more difficult to exploit, which means they need to start making bigger watches, as the smallest of hand-sizes are no longer available in such quantities. While this means no increase in the cost of making Panerais, the Lume increases more than covers the difference. Couple this with the increase in drunk paraplegic Monkeys used as delivery vectors and you can instantly see slower, less reliable deliveries. When supply chains are hampered in multiple ways like this, you will see an increase in cost and a decrease in quality. This adds a factor to the cost of the quality we're used to, meaning your figuers only show part of the increases we're due to incur. Yes, CornerStone is being a necessary Harbinger, and he's only started scratching the surface. Get 'em while they're hot.
  11. He hangs the hat on his gun?
  12. I think he's referring to one that costs more than $5
  13. You, sir, are showing everyone the reason you got banned on RWI. It's not big, it's not clever, and nobody is actually thinking any better of you for it. Still, on the internet, anyone can have virtual spine. Good luck with yours.
  14. Flash: It's only good for bathroom floors.
  15. Very tasty.
  16. And this is what I got back: "i'VE BEEN ASKED THIS QUESTION TWICE AND I'M APOLIZING AGAIN. sO SORRY - i TAKE LOTS OF PHOTOS AND I GUESS THE TWO WATCHES GOT MIXED TOGETHER. I'M SELLING THE 16610 DATE MODEL. ARE YOU INTERESTED. "
  17. Amongst other things. If TTK said "This watch is rubbish" I'd assume the watch was rubbish, not that he was trying to sell me a different one he had too many of. Remember his Arktos warning? Nuff Said.
  18. Ah, you do have one that works.
  19. ... and the ETA movement in your rep is as dry as a nun's gusset. There's no quality control to speak of in reps, and they don't use decent lubricants. A rep is still better value, but if you spend a bit more on them, they can be identical quality.
  20. Shipping where?
  21. Sure? http://stores.ebay.de/SCHMUCK-PARADIESE It's just necklaces.
  22. The fact that she's banned from selling on all four active forums speaks volumes. It's more than the odd detractor.
  23. I've asked him which Sub it is: The 16610, the 116610 (rep sticker!) or the no-date.
  24. Without knowing what a cdn is worth, I'd say yes.
