  1. The original came with an optional velcro band. I believe it had special end lugs that replaced the ones at ... um, the ends. Come on, the IWC has bar none the finest strap ever made. You'd be a fool to replace it.
  2. I must be better than you then
  3. The only thing that's stopped me from making Mrs Pugwash cry about having to eat noodles for the 5th week in a row is the lack of Titanium version. That and the fact I prefer my balls unkicked.
  4. Straight off? The minute ticks are the wrong length. The date window is too close to the edge. The ticks at 12 are too close together. You know, really minor stuff you'd only notice if you sat there with both versions in front of you. Have I mentioned how much I want one?
  5. ... and here's the article being bandied about the other forums: http://www.time2watch.net/IWCintro.htm
  6. It's very close, but has one or two gotchas. It's closer than your average Sub or SMP though.
  7. Generally, if you're in the UK, you're better off with Precious Time and Narikaa. They're both in the UK, see. You should be ok, however, as you're most likely not Joshua's first customer there.
  8. Putain! Ca caille! Er, I mean Och aye the noo.
  9. Text under the date wheel. Dead easy give-away. The 'N' at the end should extend out to the right of the date window.
  10. You forget we're the same person so I know what we ... er, you do for a living. (Think about it, people)
  11. @Puggy: It's ok, someone here cares. Oh, damn, I forgot to change logins.
  12. Bipolar is one personality that flips between elated and depressed, or normal and depressed. Imagine your Missus when she has the decorators in and you just complemented her on her shoes or something. It's not the multiple persona thing that people do online talking to themselves, although a lot of that can be because they have no real friends, even online, so they create threads on rep forums where they discuss stuff with themselves to give the impression that someone cares. Not that I'm accusing people here of being like that, obviously. That would be rude, and everyone here is perfectly sane and lovely. Obviously.
  13. I meant Gunnar/Bjork was talking to himself...
  14. Apparently, they think we do. However, I'd like to know what adverts ran on the same printed page.
  15. She has a watch on? Sorry, yes, between 40 and 45.
  16. If by that you mean schizophrenia, you're using the wrong definition. Schizophrenia has nothing to do with split- or multiple-personalities. What most people mean when they say Schizophrenia is in fact Dissociative Identity Disorder. ...and amazingly, we're still on topic.
  17. Ok, reading that article, it's not news, it's an advert. It's a Fossil pump and dump or futures sale. Why mention the Microsoft involvement, when it's old news that died last year? Not what I'd call news journalism, to be honest.
  18. persona noun ( pl. -sonas or -sonae) • the aspect of someone's character that is presented to or perceived by others : her public persona. In psychology, often contrasted with anima . • a role or character adopted by an author or an actor. ORIGIN early 20th cent.: Latin, literally ‘mask, character played by an actor.’ So, while "Mask" is the origin, it's hardly the meaning.
  19. Close to perfect. Too bad they don't have it in Titanium.
