The Dark Knight was a damned good film. We've had some great movies in the last few years, like Casino Royale, 300, Juno, La Vie En Rose, Grindhouse and Serenity, for example, yet WALL-E stands out even against great movies such as those, and that's a testament to its brilliance. Such simple storytelling done masterfully. I reckon it should be nominated for the "Best Movie" Oscar, as opposed putting it in the slam-dunk "animation" category.

Without a doubt, hands down winner: WALL-E. It's the best film since the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I await your scorn.
