  1. A missing tooth or teath would alow the movement to jump forward a bit but again that would be visible on a vibrograph

Ok the thoughts from my watchmaker/mentor and my coments back to him in red check the beat, he says that the beat is correct check magnetism, could be how would this make it run faster though unless a coil on the unrue was touching check the Balance spring, is round and not touching if you have problems with the clutch(train) the movement would be in the right time but the hands are slower, I agree It is possible a Spring winding is connected the beat rises up and the watch goes forward. it looks being correct in time and it is correct but in the wrong beat. I keep thinking that if the movement was the older beating at 21600 and you put a balance out of a newer one beating at 28800 what would happen??????????????????

  8. Yes it sounds like the keyless works neen resetting, it is not a hard job infact there is a tutorial some were here

  14. Nomad just to correct you there the speedy moon rep come with sapphire, i have done conversions from sapphire to plexy The sapphire i have here is from a moon watch and the it is 31.42mm with out the retaining ring
  15. Over a week under the lamp and i think i am seeing some fading but it is so faint it may be my imagination

O.T. well i think it is on topic but i get them from a supply house here in Germany, real comfortable and at a decent price of about €20 plus postage, only available in 18 and 20 mm though, brown, red brown and black, also moo crock print if you want it. I am putting in an order with them tonight if you want one.
  18. Personaly i would do what Sixx says above and then sell you other to some one who wants to learn to fix watches or has a spare movement laying round
