  1. Sounds like a job for a watch maker mate
  2. Thanks OS, some thing to think about.
  3. Annnnnnnnd what did you see first?
  4. EYE TEST Look at the picture below very carefully Have you noticed the girl in the background? Noticed her bum? Well look at the picture carefully! if your answer is YES then go and see an OPTICIAN!!! What you see is the shoulder of the girl taking the picture!!! Dont worry I saw the bum first as well
  5. A good chuckle for the start of the day!!! SAYING GOODBYE TO MOTHER You Don't Have To Own A Cat To Appreciate This One! You don't even have to like 'em! We were dressed and ready to go out for the New Years Eve Party. We turned on a night light, turned the answering machine on, covered our pet parakeet and put the cat in the backyard. We phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi. The taxi arrived and we opened the front door to leave the house. The cat we put out in the yard, scoots back into the house.. We didn't want the cat shut in the house because she always tries to eat the bird. My wife goes out to the taxi, while I went inside to get the cat. The cat runs upstairs, with me in hot pursuit. Waiting in the cab, my wife doesn't want the driver to know that the house will be empty for the night. So, she explains to the taxi driver that I will be out soon, 'He's just going upstairs to say goodbye to my mother.' A few minutes later, I get into the cab. 'Sorry I took so long,' I said, as we drove away. 'That stupid bitch was hiding under the bed. I had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out! She tried to take off, so I grabbed her by the neck. Then, I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it worked! I hauled her fat ass downstairs and threw her out into the back yard!' The cab driver hit a parked car.
  6. Ah GTGs, i remember my first, and you know what it is looking about time to organize another, looks like you had a great time there guys
  7. Plus 1, just imagane his face after he had up loaded the first part and then he found about the V2
  8. Thanks Lani, pretty comprehensive, I have A v2 I think and seriously thinking about a better version now
  9. There were a couple of comments alluding this way i noted.
  10. I have and still have watches with only one seal and no screw down crown pass a 10bar test so as long as the seals that you do have are in good order then it should be water tight enough, but if you are going to get it wet then have it tested first
  11. total bull on the X, as it is fitted with a standard 2824 or clone, not the modded 2824/3135 sort of at a distance lookalike, the one below it has the bullshix 3135 clone that would look like a gen 3135 at a distance with binos turned the wrong way round and a bad case of conjunctivitus
  12. Good point there day month date monephase ( but i dont thing it will be adjustable for the actual moon phase, but is the gen?) chrono and is that GMT or second time zone on the 9 subdial!
  13. Good point about the bracelet pins Mike. Still on the same point, someone was asking the while ago as to whether the farady cages in out watches like the milgause and ingy actually works. Well they don't because i was able to stop all my reps with a STRONG magent but not my gen, so "just for looks" gents on that point.
  14. I would be tempted to say the bretling blackbird, or bently 6.75 complication include Big date running seconds @ 3 moved from 9 min totalizator moved from 12 to 9 chronograph but from Kollector above If this is a true moon phase then i will concede, bit if it is just a rotating disk then i still say the BBB
  15. I would say it is a very good watch
  16. IWC INGY light attraction to the bracelet, stronger attraction to the case back
  17. They have no idea what thery are missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. @ Andy We know it is a Seagull because it was ordered directly from the Seagull Factory and supplied by them. Ah ha, roger out, i am off to sit in the corner The other comparison on TZUK is here 11 pages long but you only need the first 5 to get all the info, somwhere in there there is a photo of and ETA and two other chinese clones side bu side but i cant find it. I do hope from what ziggy has placed before us that the QC of the official seagull movements is not slipping and this is a one off, I have had a 20 good to one Bad (over oiled seagull hand wind) which is 95% perfect over the last 6 months, The British horological institute also sees fit to put their name on a seagull tourby so i pray this was a bad day for the QC guy. another good review here as well
