Naaa different colored eyes

Well I will have an unbranded sample very early in the new year for you all to see. One think that is really exiting about this project the the quality of the lume in the bezel, from the photos i have seen from the manufacture it is a torch. The bezel insert will be different the the case is now in production in the shape below

Conterary to to what the other forum said i like the insert, in fact i would like a CF dial too. Infact how about this Take a sapphire glass insert and a CF one machine out the markers and numerals, fill with C3 super luminover lay the sapphire over the top, Print the CF dial like the old 5517 with out the white gold markers and put an L not a T, now that would be nice, If you are going to put it on a g10 strap make sure you have solid bars. And incase the people from prohunter are reading, if you copy my idea i wont sue if you give me serial number 1 Every one else keep an eye out on there website for me will you.

Coffee for the lume works

Strange that it has a T for Tritium and not an L for luminover. This came up a while ago on another forum and it got ripped to bits, mainly no one really liked the CF inscert, I quite like it. What i dont like is the price 9K or something stupid for a DLC sub??????? Also what makes this military, a circle and a T and the sword hands? it adds a bit of heritage back to the 5517 but that is all

Where did you put the wd40???????????? Maybe you just had a build up of dirt in the gears. I would really recommend a complete service by a competent watch smith to get it properly clean with the correct oils.

If i could find the second sketches it would be better as that was a bit rounder, one point i did not like in this version was the very sharp edges and flat design, My design that i would like to use has a few variations from the simple dive watch as i designed it with military applications in mind.

I had this same problem a few years ago, infact this started me off working on watches as the local omega shop said it could not be fixed (could not does not feature in my vocab) So i took it apart and found the problem and fixed it This is a 552 movement and you can see the gear indicated @1 was slightly warped and was riding over the pinion @2 every couple of mins and the second hand would stop. I straightened the gear and it has been perfect for the last 3 years Now your problem may be different to mine but this may help

I have to agree with all of the above, the first times it can be a trial and disappointing but it gets easier in time. Keep at it

Similar T, those were the original drawings i got from our friend, the next set of drawings have got lost in a mariad of computer problems i have had this year.
