@ TT i will stop, when we have paid the bills or i am warned off. @ Giorgio, I am not trying to be rude and i have tried to be helpfull to every one, noob (and i hate that term) or not. I too have stood up for the smaller man in my life, i wear the medals to prove it. Yet i see ever more people who cry "what is the world going to do for me"? with out them ever contibuting or even showing the willingness to contribute. In the last 20 years i have come to see there are two sorts, the burden and the carrier. Every one at some point needs to be carried or pointed, in the right direction, educated or shown the light, once that way is found then it is the DUTY of those persons to turn around and shine the light for others. In this case that light costs more than a candle (but not much) shine that light!!! I searched for comradeship, i found it not in brother in arms, i found it not in the life on two wheels, i search still and i give still, mayby i find freindship here!

@ Giorgio what would be your first post @ trc, rwi ect if RWG was not there in the morning? It is not about ridicle it is about morals!

Another vote for the gold railmaster, it is just that little bit understated but classy Just got to precious time then omega and limited railmaster 18k be prepared to be impressed

If it was into the UK i would just send it and but in there a letter to the seller saying what went wrong if customs open it then they would also look at the letter but spain i dont know

Going to the AD was dumb , ref the scratch are you sure it was not there before you took it to the AD, it will polish and it will pick up more along the way but if you dont know if it was there when you got it from your collector then you cant complain to them! and i would not like you to go back to the AD and try to blame them, where was that smiley of the guy shooting himself! When you start the stop watch every full rotation on the large seconds hand will record 1 min on the 30 min subdial after 30 min it will have made 2 rotations and be back to zero at this point the 12 hour subdial will record 1 hour of elapsed time. a nice watch though congratulations PS how about using that $1000 +dollars you saved over the gen and supporting this good advise

1 to 1 is generaly a fantasy, this is a rep @10% the price of the gen, it is a different watch from the upo. It does not have AR at least i can definatly say on the Bond watch, The bracelet issues are another matter, due to lug holes being drilled in a different place on the UPO and silix, I have a UPO strap on my silix and the SEL required moding to get it to fit, when you put a silix rubber band on a UPO you need the perfect spring bars to stop it bending out at the lugs, there are numerous posts about it here abouts, For the price difference i would go for the Silix, only geeks like us and gen geeks recognise the AR and other small faults, you will never fool either no matter how good your rep is (ubi's daytonas excluded)

On that point the pearl that is on my bond PO from silix was far better than pictured, exactly like the gen exept the metal suround on the gen is rounded on top and the silix one is flatter, flush with the insert as it should be and with good lume! The biggest let down for me is the lack of AR but @ $80 odd less than the UPO it is a very good deal
