You know i missed the fat dial, looking at it again i quite like it as unacurate as it is and for a watch like a SD quite fitting, that aside it is not right is it, bugger!
Precioustime may have limited stock but it is quality!!!!!!!!! i am very supprised he has not got back to you, i would mail him again if i were you. Also Narika can offer the service you are after as well as TTK!
Also had good dealing with Homer recently he also EU
Put it in a zip lock bag with some silica gel packs open the crown and remove the case back, this will remove the moisture the inside but the damage will have been done. The dealer should replace this watch, almost every one of them states it is water resistant to 1000m. Dealers do the right thing!
Does the case look thick enough, the bezel looks better and nice deep crystal but can t tell on the case thickness or the crown guards, and what is with that pearl?
14 rep numbers all 89XXXXs but just 1 gen number 1085038 with 7 numbers and not 6 like the reps any one help on other gen numbers or a rep outside the 89s??????????
I have been doing some scouting round and have seen 12 different serial numbers including the ones listed as "different" here and all are in the 89s. If pug's, SD4k and rxus have numbers starting with 89. I am going to do a look for gen numbers in a mo.
I have got to agree with most here that they do scratch up easily but i dont mind that too much, a worn in watch looks ? well just worn in and nicer, every so oftern i give them a polish with cape cod and scotch brite the brushed parts to tidy them up a bit. Even my brand new SFSO has scratches on the bracelet already just from my desk, i dont mind.
Is that Cannon pin NOT resesed? and i hve to say i like the brushed case in that as opposed to a polished one. Was it brand new TJ or from a trade?
A question for all, Are these bridges correct for an E series movement and is the brushed finish also correct.
TJ i have a couple of 24mm straps that are sat in my desk doing nothing the two on the left the one on the right has gone PM if you are interested.
BTW nice watch i like it, even if it is not acurate (i dont know hence the questions) wear it well
You might be able to do a complete movement swap if you can find out what the movement is and order a new one from Cousins UK. If you post a photo of the movement someone here will ID it. Do you have any experience working on watches or are you just adventurous, i did my first one with out any real experience (might want to order 2 movements just in case though, they are cheep any way) and it worked.
Its not road rage V it was disrespect rage! that guy had no respect for the privilages he enjoys at the expence of the guy you stopped to help, But do you know what the real [censored] is here?
Why does the Vet neet to beg?
For $2500 you can pick up a gen non discount SFSO in germany and i expect i could get a PO for less than that as well. THAT IS A LOT OF MONEY. However it is the deam of many to have a gen rolex movement! and i am sure some one will buy these. After all people pay for the HBB and that has the asian 7750 and what is that costing now $900 even with the GEN chinese bezel.
Well that is 8 different numbers, so if there are 10 different numbers that is better than them all being the same but they look like a random last 4 , can any one confirm if the gen starts with 89 and can we see if we can get 11 different numbers, this realy does look like a super rep, very hard to spot the rep!
My Fiddy and 177 both spring out a bit when the lever is released but this is just the presure being released on the O rings as far as i know and not a spring as such, both my CG were modded by me to provide a tighter closure by removing metal from the feet thus lowering the lever and increasing the presure on the crown. I read somewhere that the newer gens had a ball bearing set under spring tension in the lever so that it roles over the crown when closing and opening. BTW i have swam in both the fiddy and 177 with out problems
