  1. Gen is the one on the left not fitted according to your pic in post 2 pug
  2. I saw one yesterday in a TI avenger that was
  3. Thanks, it does fit, looks fine to me, owwww that will be in Pam bug, Railway clocks look small to any one else?
  4. You actualy want one of these?
  5. Well said Nanuq, love the Gif, takes me back to my days in Cubs/scouts, come to think of it we learned responsibility and leadership there that i carried on in my present career. Also i was instructing on a survival camp a couple of years ago and it was amazing how few people could not even light a fire, even with matches and lighters. They thought it was black magic when i pealed some flaky bark from a silver birch and lit it!
  6. The Silix PO is different from the UPO in many ways, it has no ar, the 12,6 9 3 marker a tad small, the crown has an external thread, however it does have the correct logo on the new ones and the bond model, the rubber strap from him fits perectly, the UPO crown threads have been known to disapear or wear away never heard of the proplem on a silix PO, mine has proven water proof to more than i would normaly put a watch through and it is about $100 cheeper. Also silix is a great collector. I am sure they are other points that others can add to this.
  7. Just played an looked at my gen one and i would say yes aslong as the tonge end is no more than 17.73mm acording to my vernier gauge but i bet you can get an 18 in there as that is what the gen is and not too thick 2,5mm max or it wont close properly hang on i will just try something. I gust got a gen omega shark skin to fit and close no problems, ok it is an 18/16mm and not a 20/18 but the width would not be a problem by the way the shark is 3.76mm high across the ridges.
  8. My 8 year old daughter prefers a pam with a crown guard she just told me but quite likes my new black seal, you know the pam fever has bitten when this looks not too big. There is a 42mm cusion case if i am not mistaken? any one got one? We were playing hangman the other day and although i won the game as soon as i had a p an a and an ii was amazed she thought of it, then my wife want to play my daughter and came up with this no wonder my daughter could not get it!
  9. I hope you get something new Andreww Just been to the post box so it called for a change Very supprised how small these wear fo a 45mm watch
  10. We have to bear in mind that these are reps and not highend gens, that said have you held a brand new sub bracelet, i did the other day and i have to say that i prefered the feel of my noob mariner one that i polished the sides my self, The gen one did not feel like is should have been on a 4k plus watch. I good clean and polish or the rep strap will make it feel better, you could re polish the sides of the links with a dremil and that would get rid of the sharp feel to it. Have a look here i did a small review on the one i got from silix with the cream dial.
  11. Welcome sorry to here that some low life took you last collection, i am sure you will soon start another quality one here.
  12. In that case you will have to first unscrew the crown, if you look directly at it try to unscrew it by turning it anti clockwise after 2 to 3 turns it should be free and pop out slightly to the winding position, you can then also set the time ect as a normal watch, once you have finished push it back in screw it up and away you go. One point to not i dont know how well the treads are made on the link but just be carefull not to over tighten or cross thread the crown.
  13. Still on the Fiddy today as i wore for a little GTG with Rolexsanwich yesterday, back to work tomorrow so i will change to some thing samller like a PO Got to say i was very impressed with the Pam 196 he brought along, first pam chrono i have handled and it was nice, very nice.
  14. Well i dont know if that lume colour is right but it look fantastic!
  15. Not sure if the tag link has a screw down crown, any one else??
  16. Great pics Laz, loved the fully under water one with the stones on the strap!
  17. Definatly go for the longer

A recent scientific study found that women find different male faces attractive depending on where they are in their menstrual cycle . For example, when a woman is ovulating she will prefer a man with rugged, masculine features. However when she is menstruating, she prefers a man doused in petrol and set on fire, with scissors stuck in his eye and a cricket stump shoved up his backside. NOW SEND THIS TO A MAN WHO NEEDS A LAUGH AND A WOMAN WITH A SENSE OF HUMOUR!!!
  19. Wow, i'll get my coat. I take it you have experience then, i need to get one of those wheels to mark the stiches out!
  20. Half of me says send it back the other half says send it to ziggy, cutt your losses have him service it sort the crown problem and you will have a perfect fiddy and i think right now i would go with the latter, Send the 112 to me though, lol that dimple would not bother me at all!
  21. Vic, the 112 looks great remember these are reps! Now the CG on the fiddy is an easy fix to get it tighter, remove it and gently file down the feet so that it sits closer and then holds firmer, i have done 3 this way, you could even do it with a diamond nail file watching tv just keep the feet at the same angle and take the same amount off both sides, Now the crown, is it the case that it touches the inside of the CG when it is pulled and the CG is stopping it getting to the hand set position? as that is a different matter? and would require the stem to be shortend.
  22. I hade to do the same on a UPO bracelet to get it to fit a Silix bond PO due to the tsainless a normal drill bit wont do it but a dremil cutter bit or two did
  23. You have swapped the date wheels?
