I would say it would work no proplems, the size is the same and so are the handsizes, go for it, but you could just get the date wheel and fit it in a 2824!

The silix PO case has the holes drilled a bit futher outboard than the upo hence the gap, if you think that is a pain try fitting a UPO bracelet to a silix case! I am not sure how other have done this conversion sorry i cant help.

Had a read through it, it does not mention a great deal about the quality of the rep apart from it having an asian 28800 7750 that is missing the adjuster and that the pushers are not screwed in. In all it warns people to be aware of the quality of the reps and to use escrow for online purchases so as not to get caught out. It staters that only a good craftsman would know that it was not real even if the back was off, ok he wopuld have to be real out of touch to notice the missing adjuster as it has been there since 1973 but you never know, dial, hand, and bracelet quality were all said to very good. I would like to know what they say about the SFSO hmmmmmmm, the breitling cal 17 is not a lot nore than a polished 2824/2 so the swis works ones are a good way there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do think that we need to stay quiet more now than ever before or we will loose all we have, our collectors, makers and all we reliy on to fool ONLY our selfs. we are getting madia attention now lets Shhhhhhh

I just started watching Band of brothers again, Tell you what not a great deal of falsehoods there! But also lots of firing and some times not a lot getting hit! Also very true. Grenades that blow with a big ball of flame and people and cars flying, now that pisses me off! It does not happen like that, grenades are a bit of an anti climax after seeing so many films.

Frankt and I did a bit of a trade, links to him case to me , between USA and Germany, he received the links on the 17th, posted on the 11th and i received the case yesterday 18th. I think that is quite quick really, i just sent a motorcycle helmet to Aus and that took 6 weeks and cost a fortune!

It was a question i posed a while ago after looking at the gen in an AD, and the general consensus it that it is off white, from all the photos i have seen the reps look white but are in fact off to the creamy side of white. Pugwash may be able to explain why this looks like it is in the photos or be able to capture the real colour but then it would also depend on how the colours are set up on your computer and monitor.

That was my sticking point to buying one last night, price! expencive when you plan to put it in $58 watch

So far i have had very good dealings with all our collectors, but have not had a lot of repete dealings as as soon as i say this is the collector for me then along comes the next watch i want and is only from another dealer so far and in order i have worked with Eddie lee, Precious Time, Andrew, Josh x 2, Silix x 2 and TTK, so far "life is good"

I just received the new chronus mag and was surprised to see a comparison between the new navi rep and a gen, I have not red it fully bit the first page basicaly starts with say good buy to the days of the cheep distinguishable rep. The new bread are hard to tell even for the pros. Have made a couple of shots and will try to take some better ones later.
