  1. I am still on my first 44mm pam, just been in the pool with it, lume could be better but all in all for what i paid from TTK a greeeeeeat watch I am really impressed with it now i have filed down the crown guard to get a good positive closure on it and waxed up the leather strap.
  2. If it is a gen dial just swap the whole thing
  3. Missing a 177 there mate, i have one so it you would like to see your collection complete then send them over to me and i will take a group shot, might take a while though, bout 3-4 years. LoL
  4. That looms really old, but good, just like a well used watch should be.
  5. Andy there are only 10 bids so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Due to the positioning of the crown i would say gen,
  7. Out of the box for me has to be my railmaster.
  8. If they made other modles with at least the same case then you might have a chance but i dont think you have much of one, the movement is avalable at least in the breitling diatora. i wish you luck
  9. Mailed Cousins to ask if they can or will get them. Will let you all know what they say
  10. What about the gotld datona worn by the bank manager in the DaVinci Code, he tries to pass it off as a rep when the police notice it.
  11. Victoria, if you have a look here you will see a bit more about torbilions and how and why they work, the difference between them and other bits you might find interesting about the inner workings of watches.
  12. Just on a similar point the movement holder in the Silix PO uses the same method, but i would saythat it does not hold as positive as in that one as the screw have to be angled out to the side as you wind them out to ensure that they catch in the retaining ring and hold it all in the right place.
  13. I think over the past year we have seen a bit of a change in the way that replica watches are made, we have had the chance to see pre production photos and the chance to find the faults and get them rectified before the production models come out. I have read that some of our collectors own a couple of gens that may have been used as plans for reps but i thing as a rule they are made from photos and other information. if every one was made from a gen then we would see many more true 1 to 1 reps, and there aere not that many of them in reality. When it comes to customising i think the real queston to ask is can someone customise rep A to look like this or that as oposed to the general question you gave. There are many people here that can carry out work for you but the dealers apart from Ruby that has already been mentioned are in many cases just Drop Shippers, they never get to see the watch you get they take the order and pass it on to a shipper who ships it to you, oftern with very little quality control. Do you know what sort of watch you would like and what you would like done with it?
  14. Has any one asked at cousins UK if they can get this, If not i will ask, but lets not all ask at the same time!
  15. I got a reply from the factory they do not sell to private persons and would not give me any info on who will!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Newly arrived today from TTK for a great price, Thanks TTK. Asian all the way! love it. I always thought that 44mm pams would look and feel bigger.
  17. I am sure it can be fixed by a good watch smith but i echo Alligoat, as a vip you will find what you are looking for!
  18. I got a rolly box for my mum with the day date and she spent more time with the box than the watch. Although After 5 months day in day ouit wear, she says it keeps perfect time (she does not care about the seconds at here age but is never late too or from work) Well done josh.
  19. The reason that they ask the questions is that as a noob and non VIP they cannot see the parts that we can see. Welcom Ixidor, you will find some usefull information here but mabe the grail as a vip. Spend some time before you spend your cash, Time spent on recce is seldom wasted!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Congratulations on 1000, you are a contibutator, ie you give and give. Thank you i enjoy what you write, you help make this place what it is.
