PAM 666 - Final Spread - Strap + Enhanced Photos

yeah well, i thought iw as going to put it on a gold strap and create a cool contrast, but it looked wierd - i tried my black strap and it was alright, but it wasn't a jet black strap so it was just alright, then i yanked this out of the strap dungeon and tried it out and it was DAMN cool. Its not as red as it looks there in reality, its much more very dark brown. Very tuff to photograph. So, it just happen to be this strap. one problem is my buckle is to small for that thick of a strap so i have to get another pvd buckle does anyone have a bob buckle they want to trade polished for pvd? -
yeah we learned that the hard way

Senior Flav would you care to indulge? or do you not want to reveal your secrets I should have sub titled this thread PAM 666 - "the square root of all evil" -
Alright boys and girls - this one was a little tuff to capture in its full excellence on camera. What we have here is a Davidson PVD Case Set on a V Strap The Dial was Modified by Flavor Flav - who also pioneered the Design This watch is officially a Franken because "gen" parts were used (chris to explain below) So Special Thanks go out to Veni and Chris - This is a 100% RWG Home Grown Franken Original Now the photos - I have taken photos of the natural shots. Here you can see the sandwhich part of the dial. In the photos it looks a little ruff - but in person its smooth as silk. However, what you see here, with the sandwich revealed is really the minority view. Most of the time it just looks dead black. In order to give you a feel for the watch i have included a photoshopped enhanced version of what it really looks like most of the time. Enhanced Actual And - here are the before photos and last but not least - a shout out to andrew for letting me steal your glow concept for the "logo shot"

DING DING DING - Mayors! but how many Rolex AD's are there in the mall Re: The weight. I only have a newb mariner, i have a mbw on the way -Achem Achem - i said ON THE WAY well, those amoung you know what i mean - anyway, i'll compare it then, but it was signifigantly heavier than my newbmariner - now, the gold mid links i'm sure have some effect. But i took off my bce and noticed the weight, so what does that tell ya

so, i took the car in for an oil change and while i was screwing around waiting i headed into a local jewelry store that carries rolex cartier i was wearing my BCE. anyway i was dressed like a total scrub, from the gym basketball shorts, tshirt, baseball hat - ipod headset. I was sporting the maui jim's though anyway, i walk around just to check things out - the lady takes one quick glance at the watch - Hi, can i get you something to try on? Would you like a beverage, some coke, or coffee? I tried on a 2 tone sub - they are heavier than i thought anyway made me chuckle. I be if anyone else was in the store they would have said - HUH? oh, just a quick fun story. Its nice to be treated nice, even when you dress like a bumb - or as i like to consider it - comfortably
-

i would also recomend doing it with a house and microwave you dont intend to keep -
yeah, i like the seconds at 6
-
hey man, if you really want to check one out - i have it. in blue. its freaking awesome. I highly recommend getting the leather strap to go with it, its super high quality. I also get the SS because its better for re-sale value. But, the straps on these are soft, comfortable thick - very very nice.

another good thread. Stephane, i just want to say i really appreciate the time and effort you take to give back to the board. You seem to find value in almost every purchase and transaction to share with members, good and bad. Most people don't realize how much time and energy it takes to shoot watches write up posts, crop the pictures, put them online. Its not a 1-2-3 deal. So, i just wanted to say your time and effort do not go un-noticed.

i have always wanted to post this in a "how do you order from ttk thread, cause there are like 2 million of them, but when i get in the thread, sometimes i feel bad for the newbs and dont' want to sound like a [censored], But since this has been resolved i'm going to take my opportunity to say what i always want to when i read the thread title. "Very Carefully!"
