Nice catch Rasta. Skyland's a beauty of a watch. I should know, I am wearing one now. Enjoy Cheers Siesta

@chronoluvv, its 2.5 years of my life which I'll never get back. Following by about another 10 years of "standby readiness". But I did walk away with good frens and intangible lifeskills. How to deal with A R S E holes commanders, some measure of independence, and the occasional laughter from recollections of doing stupid things only attempted during my youth. Other than that, utterly useless. @reachroland, a rep can never replace the inner satisfaction of owning a gen. The Hamilton X-Wind a nice watch anyways Cheers Siesta

Guys, Made the mistake of telling Cara, Coolfire and Taka that I had a Hamilton which never saw the light of day... so due to their requests, here it is... For members outside of Singapore, the army gives out Hamiltons when we have fulfilled our military obligations. So "free" is sort of a misnomer... its earned through sweat and blood (admittedly, the occasional bruise and cut here and there). Cheers Siesta181

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Funny thing about the SC strap. My skin is allergic to it, causes unbelievable irritation but this is just me. Doesn't seem to affect anyone else. Solution.... went to the pharmacy, bought some hypoallergenicc tape. Tape the inner of the strap that touches skin. Problem solved.... Strap is way too good to sell just like that. Thanks for looking. Cheers Siesta

Thanks Andy, You make some excellent straps as well. In fact I managed to get one via Lazarini about 2 months back... The quality of the leather is just different. I dont know how to describe it. @Cara, its either this one or my 111. Cheers Siesta

Guys, I know there's been way too many 127 pictorials but hey... you gotta admit its a beautiful watch.... and i needed to justify the purchase of my new camera. The case is the old E0117 case. Exploded crystal was replaced by a DSN crystal. Also bought new dials and hands from him which did not fit with the old case. Strap is SC Legend II (nice and thick). Photography tips from resident experts much appreciated. Cheers Siesta181

To see your collection simply confirms I am normal... I can justify the purchase of another rep.

Taka knows I am joking.. Some things needed for this GTG 1. An AP @12 (this is a personal request) 2. Portable UV light. (The same one used to check fake dollar notes). 3. Your reps / gens. Cheers

I can't resist my 183 on Cajun's Dark Brown Gator. Cheers Siesta181 -
GTGs are fun.... just attend one and you will be able to judge for yourself whether its worth the money.... trust me its worth it. Knowledge is exchanged. Best buys are discussed. Groupbuys are organized. Thats just the money aspect. You also get to enjoy the company of great ppl. @Cara... Thanks for being such a great host tonight. Bling Bling.... @repfreak... Looking forward to seeing you soon. I am good for the 21st. Unofficial GTGs are okay for me after office hours. Just not the week of the 15th Sep Cheers siesta

@dadog... Thanks. I was looking for a gator for my pams but SC's gators are just to rugged looking for the 183. With Brent, you can choose the gator pattern. I chose a pattern more suited for the dressier 183. Gonna get all my gators from him from now onwards. Next strap will be for my IWC Doppel. @mj... been following your 111 project. Your cajun cognac a perfect complement to the 111.

too bad its not mine.... Enjoy it.

Guys, It began life as humble generic PAM 183 in GZ, China. Adopted by poor watchfreak in Singapore. Sent to Florida for an extreme makeover and accesorized with gator skin crafted by a fine artist, Brent B of Virginia. Nothing is impossible... Cheers Sorry for the poor photos.... Photographing black dialed watches is absolute [censored]. Vac and Brent were extremely helpful. Watch spent a total of 3 weeks away from home. 2 weeks transit and 1 week modding (a rough estimation, might have been shorter). Brent took 3 days to complete the custom strap (WOW!!!!)... and strap took 1 week to reach my shores. Thanks Brent, strap received with absolute delight on my part Thanks to ye both... Cheers Siesta181

I'd advise you guys in europe to stick as close as possible to Rob. His luming skills might just rub off on you guys through osmosis. Have a safe trip and take in the city sights. Paris is a beautiful place. Perfect for the 2 of you. Enjoy yourselves. Cheers Siesta181

Let me know of any official or unofficial GTG. I'll haul my assss and my reps down. I think I've developed the "get your credit card out coz you buying another rep" itch.....HELP. See you guys soon... Cheers Siesta

Come on bruddah.... you know that the 16 watches storage box ain't gonna cut it.... you're gonna need more real estate. Come on admit it..... Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery... at least until the next super rep comes out. Have a good weekend. Cheers Siesta

@graphix - Skilled watchsmiths in Singapore a lot.... finding skilled watchsmith who are rep friendly is tougher than striking 4D. Restaurants are fine I guess as long as its quiet and we are cordoned off... If numbers are large enough maybe we can book a private dining room. I know some chinese restaurants offers such rooms.
