I've already ordered a co-ax SMP from CQOUT and I'm very interested to know as well. Also, I'm wondering if the case back from the new co-ax chrono(which I believe is correct) will fit this watch. If I take care of those two things, the only thing left is the movement(don't care), He valve position(don't care), and the 3 o'clock lume marker(don't care, but if I could find a gen dial for a decent price, I'd consider replacing so I could do a logo swap on the co-ax chrono.

Not the right bracelet for that watch, but that's just like my opinion, man.

So is the logo with lines through the middle correct or not? What about the clasp? Are the engravings accurate? I ordered one of these from CQout, and I'll post pics when I get it. One other thing I noticed, is the lume at 3 o'clock is much larger than the gen.

If you have the money, I'd recommend a Euromariner, WM9, or The Sub Supreme from Precious Time. Those are the ones I'm looking at anyway.

I'm not 100% sure about the back, but i do believe it is accurate minus a complicated engraving of a globe with the omega symbol that the reps don't bother recreating, and there is also a serial number laser etched into one of the lugs.

I went with a co-ax SMP "red" with crap asian movement. AKA a bargain bond. The crown guards don't look too bad in the pictures, and I like the look of the new SMPs. The He valve is still off I think, but I don't mind that. I'll post pics when I get it.

How does it feel cheap? Only the locking clasp on mine feels cheap.

I vote for the first one. It'd make a nice dress watch. Although personally, I'd wait for the larger DJII or at least until they rep the fatter lugs of the newer DJs.

I found this on cqout for $75 plus shipping. CGs aren't quite right, He valve looks too low, and I'm not sure about the caseback, but the dial & hands look good, and it has the black datewheel.

According to Omega's website, all newer Bond SMPs "reds" have the SS accents. Yours is a third generation Bond, and with those CGs, I would leave it as is.

I've been keeping my eye on these, because I want to buy a rep RXW submariner. Word is, it's got the same Gelena, Shitinerand engraving, so it's probably from the same factory as the MBK or whatever, but at a fraction of the price. Also, ebay is lax about taking them down.

I would love an updated link. I purchased a Clark's insert, but I'm still not happy with the pearl.

They are all horrible. There is no way they will rep the countdown feature, so they all have a non-movable dummy hand. The engraved rehaut is painted black. The subdial is completely wrong. Not to mention, most people consider this watch extremely fugly, so there is little to no desire to improve on it's poor quality.

By-Tor, I do believe we have comparable tastes. Although I like 'coke' more than 'pepsi', I am also a sucker for blue faces.

I ordered the fish, but not the nice expensive one. Think I'm gonna put it on rubber. I love the jigsaw bracelet of the BCE, but overall it's a much flashier watch. Get the fish(first).

Look at that pearl! Amazing. This is the first I've read about widening the bezel lip on the noob. I might have to look into this before I replace the insert on my noob. Also, that crown looks so much better than the fat noob crown. I have to order one. It could be the pics, but your rehaut depth looks much better than mine. Also, the crystal height looks better too. Maybe I got a bad one, or maybe it's a combination of the ETA vs A2813 and the recessed insert? Either way, looks great. Wear it well.
