Go for it Greg, if that is the one you want. A word of warning though, this will only be the start. As soon, if not before it arrives, you will be looking out for the next, even better model. Enjoy! That's the main thing. Oh, and Silix, good choice of dealer!
Now this maybe unconnected to the root of this thread, but I have been watching a seller on fleabay for the past few months, and just about every month, a folded link strap comes up for sale. There is one up at the moment which I am watching / want (probably shot myself in the foot here).

Now how come this chap has these on a regular(?) basis. They look gen (complete with the muck of decades) but now, because of the frequency with which they are appearing, I am starting to doubt!
What do you guys think?
Thanks TT for the info. You were right I was simply scanning the 'dealer coloured' logins at the bottom of the page.
I am very pleased to be corrected in this instance!
You have some unusual watches in your collection.....that I like a lot. Coupled with some old favourites, you have a great collection. Congratulations!
Is it just me or are the "collector" logons at RWG dwindling. Today it seems it is only the trusty Narikaa that has logged on. Where are all the other stalwarts? (no reference at all to the current fracas with T*K, as I have been following). But WTF is going on?
Yah, I read that too somewhere.
I like that white dial version. I have the blue dial Asian version, on leather as well. A weighty watch for the money. Built like a brick shithouse! I much prefer the white dial. Wanna swap???
I am not familiar with this movement, but comparing to the ones I have removed, I would suggest pressing the small 'button', just to the left of the winder cog with a small watchmakers screwdriver, and gently pull the crown to remove it
Cold comfort I'm afraid. But you have a good point........ fantastic watch, that's definately a gen! Can't understand why a decent rep isn't out there! BTW I love the pic in your avatar b16a2. Some info on that one, please? Is it yours?
Does anyone know where to source a decent B-1 rep. I haven't seen anything worth geting in rep land. I love this gen model, and neeeed to get at least a half decent rep. Heeeelp!
I am pleased to see such well informed an wise words in this thread. A lot of what has been said (no, most of it) sums up my own approach to rep collecting. Not surprising then that this forums feels like home.
Though our paths never crossed, Dave..... wishing you well.
