This kit looks too good to be true for the price. On the assumption you get what you pay for, I am dubious, though want to believe that this is a bargain. Anyone actually used this stuff?

Mine is an Asian model. The crown does screw in but does not disengage from the winding movement, and continues to wind the movement whilst screwing back in. Not tight so much, but not as it should be.

Go for the 1655. It's a low key rep, nobody knows what the hell it is, so it's a bit of a 'sleeper' if you know what I mean. Date mag on these is (generally) dreadful. Get a replacement acrylic glass from Cousins for (wow!)
