Slartibartfast

Hi Does anyone know if there is a black date wheel available for an Asian auto (Miyota copy I think)? I have just got a TAG Carrera rep from Andrew http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=12926 and it would finish it off nicely if this were 'correct'. Cheers!

I appreciate such positive comments from one so experienced. Many thanks. I realise I need to improve my photo skills, they are only as good as they are due to the camera, not me! I will take your advice on white balance with thanks. BTW, Mrs Slartibartfast is so pleased with your comments that she will now agree to take the watch off when cleaning the bogs! Cheers

Well here are a few shots of my collection so far. Got sort of hooked on this whole rep thing, and now can't stop! So many watches out there , such a little wallet!

I think the gen does have a display back. Although the TAG website does not show the back view, I have seen pics on the web of gens with this type of case.

Its a jap quartz, so keeps excellent time. I think Andrew does an ETA version but the price would be correspondingly higher. I would recommend this one though (for the money).

Got this for the current Mrs Slartibartfast from Andrew. She thinks that it is superb, and is very happy! I wont argue with her, I know my place. Enjoy the pics.

Arrived Wednesday. Very pleased with this. I was after an every day watch that wouldn't scream for attention. It has the run of the mill Asian 21J movement, which already is accurate to 4 secs a day! For this price, you can't go wrong! Enjoy the pics.

Its that Planet O feeling that's doing it for me this weekend

Took me a while to sort this out with my old Powershot. The only thing that allowed me to take sharp photos was by using the self timer, and moving away from the camera to let it take the shot itself. That way no blur!

I know, its an electro magnetic security lock, you stick in a quid and lock your SMP up to it when in the Turkish bath! I saw one only yesterday, honest!

Don't recall seeing a mid size SMP rep in my recent trawlings through the dealers.

Hey Baltic Love that speedmaster moonie! How do you rate it? Does the reset work? Do the subs function? Which dealer? This is my current temptation.... hard to resist. (Sorry to go off topic, and thanks for the comments about my pics!)

No problem, this was as advertised by Precious Time on this forum at £130 shipped. A bargain, I can assure you!
