  1. As ive said clarks is missing the top bevel making this an easy find
  2. Which one do you want more? Then buy that one! Hahaha!
  3. Odd, The explorer 2 yachtmaster and submariner no longer have them for sure. Perhaps the site is still being updated?
  4. No more engravings on the rehut... that was short lived (THANK GOD) http://www.rolex.com/en/index.jsp#/en/xml/...x-gallery/index
  5. I have looked carefully at aftermarket crystals and ALL AFTERMARKETS ARE MISSING THE 2nd TOP BEVEL. This includes, wholesale (BK stated it is missing the 2nd bevel), clark, ofrei (has 2nd top bevel but no main bevel), and casker (wrote them and they honestly replied that there is no top bevel). If you want perfection go gen.
  6. 29-325-10 Youre set bud http://cgi.ebay.com/Case-back-gaskets-For-...%3A1|240%3A1318
  7. Well thats cute! Anyway Obama won. Surprising!
  8. Well Im hoping to go beyond just the 50m waterproof rating. I will be taking it to a dive shop to be pressure tested to 300m. That being said the rings seem very thin to me.
  9. Lets face it the rep ones are pretty bad (far too thin). That being said what are the part numbers for the two o-rings connecting to the case? Im looking for the following two: The o-ring between the retaining ring and the case. The o-ring between the caseback and the case.
  10. Db if its a euromariner/mbk you WILL have to countersink that hole. I dont know about a WM9 but its a strong possibility as well.
  11. $5 says the bay... you can get EVERYTHING from the bay!
  12. DB1, Good man you did your research! Well I actually had a thread on how to replace the tube, let me point you there. For me I did not have to retap the tube (the gen threaded in just fine). and YES YES YES be careful because you will break the tubes. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...157&hl=tube My old thread.
  13. Because they had an excellent advertising scheme. Before I start this let me say I VOTED NO! Now, They focused on kids being taught about gay marriage in schools, while this is not a common practice, under the California constitution it is allowed. I think this made a lot of people uneasy. Personally I have no problem with the LGBT community, as in regards to ME. While I don't have children I do question if my opinion would have changed in regards to the prop. It is a very touchy subject for a lot of people, and I am sure marriage will be on the next ballot and will pass. We will have to see. In any case no one should be told they cannot marry.
  14. In terms of tubes... the actual length to screw in is longer which I assume will provide better water resistance. Also you get a better seal (4 o-rings rather then 3). Yes it will screw in better as well. Usually reps have small burrs which inhibit the ability for the crown to screw in. HOWEVER... tube replacement is a pain and pretty complicated. Be ready to countersink your case a break a few tubes BEST CASE. Worst case be ready to buy a new watch.
  15. Its not pressing in the crystal intself that is hard. Its pressing the retaining ring over the gasket after the crystal is on. And yes you need a press or a rep friendly watchsmith!
  16. Stick with BK. He wont STICK you! Also will do some much needed QC on the WM9. Sometimes even the datemag is off .
  17. I did a search with little luck. Actually I am not even sure what to "search" for. What I am doing is replacing my crown with gen crown. Problem is my rep crown has the stem stuck in it. My questions are: Whats the best way to remove the stem? How do I glue the new stem into the gen crown? Are there any tricks? Thanks all, Shawn
  18. Yeah somethings funky with that insert. Get a gen one! ORRRR Im2... if you are sending it to everestwatchworks... buy the watchmaterial pearl and have kent relume it. It will look gen!!!!! You are most welcome for all of the advice! Your watch is looking GREAT!
  19. the crystal will swap. Buy a gen crystal Rolex 25- 295-C 295C2 Is the correct crystal/gasket EDIT: Opps read this wrong. Crystal will swap! Sorry for the confusion. I read it as if the gaskets would swap. C2 is thicker then C1. C2 is correct for the submariner.
  20. Why gen hands? Whats wrong with the rep ones? Just get them lumed. I dont get why some people are so insistent on the hands. I recommend Kent at www.everestwatchworks.com he does a BEAUTIFUL job reluming. I am getting my first sub back soon from him and will have pictures. Gen crowns will be easy to find via ebay. Gen bezel will be tough, again the bay is your best bet. As far as crown guards, a precise dremel tool would be best. That way you dont mess up the tube. If you screw up the tube, the euromariner does accept a gen tube without needing to be tapped, it DOES need to have a slight countersink however (again i used a dremel and did it by hand). Remember, no matter how many mods your watch will never be "gen" but with the above mods it will look DAMN close. Best of luck and welcome to the best replica site on the web!!!! -Shawn
  21. A note, Click spings have differences. Wholesaleoutlet990 and watchbandman50 are DIFFERENT from the euromariner and will not work unless you replace the retaining ring and entire bezel. Best to order parts from chris! -Shawn
  22. Like The Zigmeister said, Your second hand is lose. EASY FIX. You need to find a new watchsmith, it sounds like your getting the run around.
  23. Well SWISS ETA will be made by the actual ETA company which has plants all over (including china) this is the real deal however. COPY ETA will be a Chinese copy of the ETA movement. Both are 25 jewels. ETA is one of the best movements you can buy.
