  1. Does anyone know if this is even possible? I would really like to get a ball watch and put some blue in there! -Shawn
  2. Ball is known for the lume! Its like repping a rolex and putting a quartz movement in it.
  3. The insert is a JO insert with a WM pearl which was relumed with SL luminova. The retaining ring was shaved down. the bezel was polished to give a higher "sheen" New Clarks crystal and correct gasket. Crown Guards shaved. Rehut lettering removed Im sending it to BK who lives a little north of me for some additional "touchups" Turn around time is 2-3 months.
  4. Nice write up zig. I will keep you in mind if I need something relumed.
  5. Be better just to buy a rep now. They are pretty spot on as is.
  6. Up till now all mods done by me . Lume was done from everestwatchworks.com. PS. No that insert isn't gen . -Shawn
  7. Where did my post go? Anyway same thing. Im interested, but I need to see a dial.
  8. In that case. Granted that we get all info I would be interested.
  9. Go to a watch shop. They will adjust if for free.
  10. Haha awesome, where can I find this?
  11. Why not go with one of our trusted dealers? Grade 1 Japanese Watch? If you order from there you are asking for trouble.
  12. Rob could. Be ready to wait in line. You may want to contact Vacuum. He is very respected.
  13. New member working with an anonymous dealer to bring us a "perfect dial" Sorry Tub but Im not ready to make a commitment like that.
  14. Get it from BK, He does QC which george does not. Why pay the same amount for something when you get less?!
  15. I have pictures of a gen sub crystal that I bought. It does have a "ring" not sure if its what youre talking about.
  16. I think its important to note as well that while I had read the original thread (before deletion) and had made my own (it is probably in the experts forum too). I am still interested in buying a WM9. I have spoken to BK about this issue and I know that he will jump on it and see what is going on. I don't really care if its real gold... its hundreds of dollars, what I do care is if it turns my wrist green or it wears off and the watch looks [censored]. Jake, your original post on your WM9 from years ago brought my interest in them. That being said, George isn't being forthcoming here, and that is something we all need to look at. This includes yourself. Involt really spent his time on this and it clearly shows in his posts. I think that you should give all this a chance. Don't get upset with Shundi nor myself, there are no attacks here as Shundi said. What we are saying is give the other side a chance to make their argument. We would do the same for you!
  17. Did you buy the gold one or the silver one? Mine is silver.
  18. Jake, I feel that you are getting very emotionally involved in this thread. I was part of the "solid gold" thread and it was disappointing to me that george removed it. It was very... "fishy" "fishy" in the sense that he moved that thread, but left one from boogie claiming his watch was 100% solid gold.
  19. I was involved in that gold thead. It was a real thread that george moved. I also posted a thread on gold and george deleted it.
