  1. Great photo's and great watch. I think I'm up for one now. probably the white with brown strap, but yours is really nice. Wear it well!!
  2. Normally, I agree. I went for the Inge chrono with the black nylon strap. It has a very modern hi tech look, different from other IWC's, but it is a very beautiful watch on the wrist. Lots of presence. If your looking for a vintage look, this ain't it. But if your looking for a beautiful modern watch this one fits the bill. I have all the other IWC's and it's always decisions, decisions on which to wear. You can't go wrong whichever IWC you choose.
  3. This one is now on my list too. What a beauty. Already have the Inge chrono amongst others and now this IWC's are the new Pams!
  4. Niiiiice watch, and nice backdrop. Enjoy it!
  5. I have it also. One of the nicest pams. Very distinctive. Biggest flaw is that the date wheel is black and should be blue..........but who's gonna notice. You'll enjoy it.
  6. Nice way to get the kids to school
  7. Giving some wrist time to some of my older reps: Today: JVC memovox Tuesday: IWC UTC Wednesday: GP Ferrari
  8. Hmmmm..............maybe it's best to get the less expensive asian movement copies. They're gonna be new. Let me see. New asian copy vs. used Swiss?
  9. Try our usual sources. I bought it about a year or so ago. Hopefully, this model is still around. Narikaa probably knows.
  10. Sorry to be so blunt, but that is crap. The whole site is crap. You're new. Do some homework on these boards and you'll find some really quality reps.....not those canal street knockoffs. This board was designed to save you from those sites. Take advantage............or not.
  11. Here are some in my collection that I might recommend. All very classy. I've left out the overseas. Mine aren't for sale, but just to show some variety in classy VC's Vacheron Constantine VC Jubilee from TTK VC Calendar
  12. My $.002. I've only had one movement serviced out of 70+ and that's because it crapped out. Service cost $75 and it's run fine since. I just don't feel the need to have all these serviced. I've owned and own many gens. I have had more problems with them!
  13. Today is LV day: Tomorrow: Omega GMT Sunday: Rolex Sub
  14. .....And I've got both and they run fine. Remember, the bulk of the problems are seconds at 6. Those models with seconds at 9 seem to have many fewer issues.
  15. ............but it may be that the internet (exclusive of these boards) is where the majority of high end reps sell worldwide. Remember that the typical run is now up to 1000 pieces (got that from one of our resident experts). Not that much when you consider Ioffer sites, etc.
  16. Actually, He sold many 100's of watches to members as a front, so he could convince you to send him money to rip you off. Seriously, be patient. he's sold a lot lately and getting deliveries made while paying attention to his day job which is keeping him on the road.
  17. I also have one. It's a collectors piece. I don't wear it much, but when I do it gets ATTENTON. Not because people know what it is, but because it is eye-catching. Fun watch for only $500,000 to $1,000,000?
  18. Neil is the most interesting, entertaining member of these boards, from my perspective. Sells wonderful and unusual reps. Collects the best stuff, can be a bit harsh at times..........and doesn't suffer fools gladly. Actually, he makes fools suffer
  19. I've been really fortunate. I have a LOT of Chrono's....both old and new movement. My first problem just surfaced on an IWC portuguese chrono. Chrono stops on first revolution of the dial. All the others are fine. Of course, I don't expect them to run as the Gens. BTW, I have several friends with expensive Gen Chrono's and all have had problems at various times. I guess it's not just a problem with reps?
