Wow... for a timex. Quartz or not, it is one beautiful and Functional watch. I think I prefer this in quartz. I know it will function. Thanks Neil, I'm gonna run out to find a Timex dealer and take a look.
I actually want one.
I have the swiss, a friend has the asian. when we put them together even he agrees the quality is better on the swiss. Don't know why?
oh, swiss does have saphire!
Looks great. I've got the bracelet as well, but prefer the strap. I compared them side by side. The Gen is a touch thicker. other than that it's accurate.
Yes Sir! great post. Positive and from the heart.....and whether everyone agrees with everything you've said or not, it's the way it should be.
thank you.
Same here. whether in the box or on the winder, I never screw down the crowns until I wear it. Less wear and tear. I've never had a thread issue on any including the notorious 183.
183 G is one of the best reps. I haven't had a problem with the threads stripping and have been wearing it periodically over the last year or so. Someone said it earlier, luck of the draw?
Zenith's are great watches. I too wonder why we haven't seen a good chrono rep. a couple of years ago I picked up this one with faux chrono's. Considering when I purchased it, It's a handsome face and great bracelet, and I still wear it. Wish they would make it with working chrono's (even with the fake moonphase).
I've always been a big fan of ML's. I actually have a gen Pontos and 4 reps (I think only Dave Gates has more).
Those are sterling looking. As nice a design as there is! And that Movement is very impressive.
For those not familiar, stop in an AD that stocks them. You will be impressed.
You'll notice the difference. TRC is more business like, refined. this one is a bit of the wild west (not as much as RWG1, but sometimes , in the neighborhood)
More action.....more fun.
