After several years of collecting this is the trouble I've gotten into.
Some Breitlings with a Glycine thrown in:
Some Omega's:
Some IWC's:
Some Rolex's:
Some assorted watch's:
and some more: (including a railmaster left out of the Omega box)
........So what to wear???
I was taken by the VC Overseas (black dial). It's quality really surprised me and when I have to decide what to wear on any given day, my eye goes immediately to the VC.
This one is a beauty. I normally would snap it up, but since the IWC Ingeniur chrono is now out, I'll probably go for that instead. It's a $6,000 watch. Timewalker is under three thousand. Silly reason for making a choice but.............
I'm a big fan and have four ML reps that are pretty dead on. They aren't readily available because there not as popular as the usual stuff. Try Narikaa or some of the other dealers. There out there.
Actually, TVT, no offense meant. The funny thing is I remember the same reaction when the Pam's came out over a year ago. Way to big, who could wear these clocks? etc., etc..
Exact same kind of comments and then.......viola, everybody was into Pams.
I don't think history will repeat itself here.
They already do make their own brands. It seems that there are 100's of different brands being made in China. Low cost and no name brands that are primarily sold in Asia. Some of the China experts can probably fill in more on the subject.
Probably, the biggest improvement comes from the manufacturers no longer relying on pictures but actually copying from the real watch. That seems to be a recent transition. The other is the improvement in movements available.
