  1. Great watch! you are a real artist.
  2. I'm not having trouble. May be your server?
  3. I humpin' around with this one: A 3646 on a Jurgens Strap
  4. This a tough one: Here are my favorites (I'm leaving out many that come close). Omega 007 (older version) Pam 188 (newer version; sorry The Zigmeister) Maurice Lacroix masterpiece
  5. hey guys, just skip the first three versions and come out with the fourth version. Everybody will be happy! me........I'm in for the 5th version.
  6. Here is a case of Ego gone wild. He should of listened to Disney, when they said "we don't get it".
  7. here is my outfits for the weekend: Today: Omega Railmaster Saturday: Pam Regatta Sunday: Zenith El Primero
  8. Most of the serious Gen collectors I know (and it's more than a few) have fairly pristine vintages. I've seen some 50's and 60's prized Rolex models that look almost new. None of them are proud of a beat-up bezel/overly faded dial. I know a fellow that has a very extensive vintage Pam collection and they look great. Not pristine but certainly not beat up.
  9. You picked a good one. There is also Joshua, Andrew, Eddie, TTK, King, Sean, etc. . A little searching will find them all. Welcome.
  10. Whats up with you guys! Shitinerand is the official capital of Rep watch making. If it comes from there it's a real replica. Didn't you know that?
  11. Great post, overboosted. I have basically the same story to tell, as do many of us here. We all spend too much time here. My only problem is I very rarely sell any of mine, So I've got watch boxes filled. Current count is about 70. What a wonderful addiction!
  12. Great post The Zigmeister. I have about 20 or so of these movements. never serviced them. Just wear em. I know some will finally break, but in two years everything works. I need to keep "knocking on wood". I figure these reps are so cheap, that when I do have to service them it's still a bargain. BTW, at least half are chrono's, and I use em.
  13. I think the attraction for the expensive brands is also the movement. They are works of mechanical art. Our reps can't compete with that. They do compete on appearance. It's what's under the hood that counts. In most cases, a rep is like driving a ferrari with a VW under the hood. ....but then again, I'm into appearances for appearances sake.
  14. The key is reliable. This movement should be as reliable as most, and better than some. No reason it shouldn't last for many years.
  15. Great posts on a very interesting thread. our dealers are great. And Most of our members know it. .........And the reps that are available to us on these boards are also SECOND TO NONE.
  16. I can tell you this one is VERY Accurate.
  17. Do you think if everyone decided to wait on the new generation, that there would be a new generation?
  18. The baseball strap is one of the nicest straps... period. Looks great on a very nice 111H!
  19. You guys have to understand that your hearing from a 14 year old newbie (bigsy) who is immature and doesn't have (by virtue of his posts) a clue about life. Why don't we have an age limit as to who can be members. Then, we wouldn't be subjected to self-serving, immature drivel. Startin with jetmid, and now this!!!!???
  20. Same here. Have Eddie's original and then got a 111H. With all it's flaws it's still a beauty and my first Pam Rep.
