I have it and love it. It's one beautiful watch and one of the best reps made. Heavy and accurate. There were some comments about the one flaw people found which is the date is too the right of the date window instead of centered. except that on mine it IS centered.
What a load of crap! He is funded like all other filmmakers. Mostly studios and foreign sales companies. If in fact, he was funded by Mafia, he couldn't keep it a secret in this country.....and besides the mafia can't afford his pictures.
I've got a couple of Tudor sub Gens and they are great watches. Still can be bought for a low price. but not for long. Once price goes up Reps will become available.
Here in L.A. there are so many Bentley's on the road, we call them california chevy's!
GT for me because it is more accurate. I have the older faux bentley (49mm) which I like but it's biggggg.
Just to jump in. I have a Black seal for almost 9 months now. I've never had a problem with the crown tube. I wear it several times a month and wind it maybe 10 times per month. maybe the secret is that I don't screw it down unless I'm wearing it. I put a nice Toscana strap on it and haven't changed it so can't comment on the lug screws. It is one classy watch. just don't take it off at the AD.
I've got the railmaster from Neil and couldn't agree with him more. The Lume on mine is the best. It is soooo close to the gen. I can't see a difference.
I've got the Senna which is an absolutely gorgeous watch and unfortunately the date wheel is aligned to far to the right. The other models don't seem to have the problem. Of course, I'm not that Anal. Nobody who sees the watch on my wrist would ever notice......except ME.
Neil's Tag seems spot on.
Many original explorer I's have had the crystal replaced over time with sapphire. So that is not necessarilly a test of whether it's a fake or not. I have seen three for sale in AD's and two had sapphire.
