  1. Great info. Pin this one! thank you.
  2. thanks The Zigmeister. The watchmaker I use tried a real crown (from a real gmt he was working on) on my 099. we couldn't pull it out far enough to set the time. His solution would have been to slightly shorten the crown tube, which he say's he would be reluctant to do because if he went to far the opposite would be that you couldn't wind it. I don't know what the measurement's were but we guessitmated that it was .2mm thicker.
  3. I believe that comment was directed toward the darkside. He actually made several poistive comments about Rongoms.
  4. I haven't logged off and am still able to read messages. Only new posts are in response to Blades.

We have ( mods and senior members ) relocated the site & reimbursed the members who lost their money on the rwg watch project..... thanks in large part to member generosity and one large anonymous donation. I as well as all old and new rwg members would love to know what kind of troubles kept you from rwg up until this moment. jf. Posted by blade: Yes, JF I am aware of the recent activities and my hats off to you guys for taking on the challenge. I will be bringing down RWG soon and joining up at your new site. (Under a different name of course) Legal matters, personal matters, financial matters, you name it.... Have kept me away from here. All will be explained soon. -------------------- user posted image User is offlineProfile CardPM Report PostGo to the top of the page +Quote Post V Full Edit V Quick Edit BlueFin post Today, 06:52 AM

  12. Well done! that's the best I've seen. I'd never take it off.
  13. Holy [censored], richard. you're right. People are gonna know I'm wearing a rep, all because of his stupid book with info pirated from these forums, while I've been trying to fool people all this time. We've all been had!
  14. " the gripe" is not coming from someone who was ripped off. It's just someone with a personal opinion. Richard's book helped me early on. Great material to learn from. If in fact, he got it from these forums, so much the better. Who better to get it from?
  15. This is turning into [censored] RWG1. give it a break. Nothing new to say in public. please continue this in private.
  16. alright Pugwash. No offence taken.
  17. Are you suggesting that Paul has bribed me with a free watch for a review (which I've never done)? That was meant personally? or is your command of the language limited.
  18. the three and six markers are fine. I know the real one well (a friend has it). this one is pretty spot on. whatever flaws there are, are not readily apparent. I was gonna get the gen, but this one is close enough for me. I'm in.
  19. You mean several people who don't want you here, means you won't post offers to all the others here who would like to participate???
  20. wonderful article. very informative. thanks
  21. With a swan neck or without a swan neck, if you turn it over, it will still be obvious that it's a rep.
