I think if its as bad as you say, you should have had it changed, I'm really pleased with mine, I bought the Nautilus, the AP RO jumbo and the HBB at the same time and their probably the best reps I've bought except for maybe the Steelfish Superocean , but certainly the price the dealers are charging for these you shouldnt have had the problems you mentioned, Which dealer?.

The problem that some members (including myself) have with the winder not catching or engaging the winding mechanism when you pull out or unscrew the crown , it seems to be a common problem , does anyone know if its easy to fix? I tried winding it CCW and then CW but with no luck. Its an SMP chrono by the way.

Sound like its a problem with Trustys shippers more than Parcelforce, I've had only one problem and that was an empty watch box inside an EMS envelope, it was my first order from Eddielee, I'm not convinced whether it was Parcelforce or a chinese thief but someone stole my watch I've had lots since though, all with no problem .

I have a 42mm 4th gen and bought the 20mm rep strap from Josh and it goes on, but folds down and leaves a gap at the lugs. I bought a gen strap in the end.

They are probably the same one as Josh sells , they also do not have Planet Ocean on them , only Seamaster. Maybe I'm hyping our dealers up a bit but I doubt there's any that are getting made outside of China , and that our Dealers dont know about. and Josh only charges $35 delivered for one, My advice.... wait for a better one from our dealers or buy the gen rubber strap.

I have a Gen and from what I've seen the gold bars in the bracelet are too thick. If you want close to gen go for the Double eagle , mine gets loads of nice comments.

Cant help you on the HBB , but I've got a XXL Railmaster coming soon .

I think a lot of valid replies have already been made ,but in reference to Sams comment about the boards being more low profile, I would say that he is very naive of the internet . You could be as low profile as you want to be , but if their looking for you they will find you , Simple. I cant comment on any custom issues as I believe we have it easy in UK, or so I'm told by our dealers .

I bought the rep for the 42mm and couldnt make it fit properly, its not bad quality but it doesnt fit right at the lugs, So I ordered the gen and it came today ,I 've just finished fitting it and its totally different , really nice. Firstly it fits right and doesnt move around, Secondly it says Planet Ocean on the inside of the strap, the rep doesnt, thirdly ,it has a brushed buckle ,the rep has a chrome one, lastly the holes that the pin buckle locate into are a different shape , they are narrower and longer , but more importantly the they are angled to the same angle as the pin. I'm really pleased with it .

90% of the people who own the Ingenieur rep would tell you that its already very close and your extremely unlikely to be called out , Its that good. Your wasting your time waitng for an Ultimate. I wont happen.
