  1. Ziggy, That 212 Stealth is brilliant. I love the blue hands and painted dial.
  2. The mystery of the MBW/MBK was quickly revealed after a quick little trip to Nahpiek's shop.... Did someone mention Jetmid...lol... I do miss Neil's wit and sarcastic humor...I was set to meet that bugger on one of my trips into the LOS but we just couldn't seem to make the hookup...I'm sure I'll see him one of these days in funtown Get well soon Neil.
  3. Fantastic Omega collection Lani! That vintage red is very striking!
  4. Fantastic watch and in one of my favorite cities...Dubai! I spent some time there a couple of years ago...very disappointed in the amount of available Pannies to play with...but the great food and new malls made up for it...didn't go skiing though... Thanks for bringing back some cool memories...
  5. congrats...the new bracelets look very comfortable....i still would like to own one of the older style ones. enjoy!
  6. That is a beauty! Thanks for the post! I picked up the plain steel version but that RG version looks supreme!
  7. I wasn't a fan of the Breitlings either until recently when Lani posted his SOH Chrono. That thing is nice. Otherwise, most Breits are are too busy and cluttered on the dial. Can't give you an explanation mate...and I have already downed tons of caffeine....to each their own but I never got into IWC's except the Aquatimer line or the Big Pilots...I was lucky enough to try on the gens in the boutique so that is where that change of heart occurred... I love the AP ROOs and ROs but not their Millenary line. Grahams are very cool in the display window...but not on my wrist. And most of us said the same thing about Panerai early on.....blech what is that tuna can? A little story for ya...I was in Florence (Firenze) back in 1994 on holiday...and yes, I did see one of those "ginormous, ugly, monstrosities" proudly being displayed in a shop there and commented to my wife.."what hell is that crap"...some italian/euro fashion statement going all wrong... I've kicked myself ever since...who knew....
  8. Lani...that is gorgeous...where did you get it?
  9. This is actually a good topic and of course (naturally) i clicked on it 'cause it said PORN...lol... Anyway, a few of my friends know of my watch collecting madness and I will be leaving pretty much everything of my reps to my best friend in particular to sort it all out.. The wife already knows which ones are real and which ones are reps...I think!? I would hate for my wife to sell one of my gens for a rep price, here take this fako Panerai for $100...arghhh or even worse, have her try and walk into a dealer and try and sell one of my reps for a gen price...."hello Sir, how much for my deceased husbands AP ROO" that barely wore..." Oh the horror.... ;-)
  10. I had the chance to wrap a gen around my wrist recently and this watch is just pure coolness....I wish I had the funds to get one....really looking forward to the rep. +1 for the SINNful sig above this post! yummy
  11. Thanks Gents...so its a rep kampfschwimmer...you guys just saved me some money! I love this place! cheers
  12. Theo...great story and thanks for the posting (again)... these black themes are just great! cheers
  13. Asking the vintage experts to ID this dial and if its real or not Thanks
  14. Finalmente!!! That is great...I have been wanting a Planet Ocean and POC for the longest time but so many versions out there gives me a headache...I knew my wait would be rewarded...A new Planet Ocean by summer would be awesome! Thanks for the good news Lani!
  15. Beautiful! Just love that thing! Nice shots!
  16. Nice ROO collection. that Orchard one is sweet! Thanks for the post.
  17. +1. And yes, get KyleL's IP from his posts there and I'm sure we can ID him here or on the other fora..... I like to keep the gen and rep forums separate and as far away from each other as possible You'll probably need a loupe...that is only way I could see mine on my GMT IIc
  18. Thanks gents...i did report it nonetheless...
  19. Bell & Ross "Quartz" Chrono ....is this real egay
  20. Amen Hike...well said. Now stop hoardin' that dumper shot and lets see the rest of her
  21. This is a must have for all AP ROO lovers. I love mine!
  22. That is just superb! Damn! My ROO wants are getting out of hand! Thanks for the post...do you have King's current web address?
  23. Go CrossFit It will kick your ace and get you so damn fit its not even funny... Marines Military Special Forces (not just US) MMA fighters Fitness Freaks LEO/Fire US Army US Navy US Air Force They all use it and swear by it. It is the shit and it produces serious results. Crossfit.com is all you need to know. Check out their vids and WODs....(Work out of the Day) Guaranteed to make ya puke....
  24. That is a nice, sexy setup there...thanks for the heads up on the discount! BTW, gents, if you really wanna get the skinny on shaving...there is a whole mess of fora for you to peruse and learn... badgerandblade is one place i frequent regarding the art of shaving...(no not the brand, but is mentioned)...they talk brushes, oils, creams, blades, strops, pre, post, even custom warming mugs for your cream...crazy talk! I currently haven't made the plunge but will prolly now since thomas got himslef a Merkur DE Safety Razor...highly recommended for us noobs, with good heft and control along with some Feather blades. I absolutely HATE shaving but currently have Cade from L'Occitane, Avalon Organics and Fusion gel in the shower. A standard gillette triple blade shaver but I will be getting a real blade shaver soon as my growth is just so frickin thick and my current setup ain't getting the job done.
  25. My fave was my first gen...the 111G. Painted dial, brushed CG and butter smooth winding.... Sold it long ago but replaced it last year with the 318 aka Brooklyn.
